Hotel Review of MTDC Shirdi Pilgrim's Inn
Comments: It being a government hotel, I was skeptical about staying in it. I, however, had a bad experience of going to Shirdi without reservation and then had to settle down for quite a costly accomodation which was pretty ordinary. As per my experience, the accomodation is quite nice (compared to other options/ hotels). Do not go with high expectations, and you will surprisingly find the basic amenities also being provided (such as tooth brush, paste, hair oil) which I did not get during my stay in other hotel which I mentioned earlier. It is quite close to the temple, which is another plus. The food, however, can be avoided if possible. The booking can be done through maharastra tourism website. They have options of 3 bedded and 4 bedded rooms (A/c as well as non - A/c) which makes it even better in case you are travelling in a group/ family. Overall it was a good experience to stay close to the temple.
Best Experience: The hotel is very conveniently located and easily tracable. The taxi and auto walas also know about it, so it is easily to spot. The closeness to the temple is the key.
Worst Experience: There was no bad experience as such. However, if you can avoid eating in the hotel, it would be better. There are quite good options closeby.

More care is needed in maintenance of rooms. Service levels have a lot of room for improvement....
