We reached Ganapatipule on Monday afternoon by ST bus. We could reach the hotel in few minutes. Its on way to temple. The whole area is well shaded by trees. Shantanu, the receptionist checked us in immediately. We had lunch at the hotel restaurant. The premises is clean. It has a zoola where one can seat and enjoy in the morning and night. Good enough for seating two adults and not just for children. It serves delicious Amras (Mango Pulp) in Maharashtrian Thali. However, for Solkadhi, you will have to go Shivspandan, just across the street. The room was clean. Quiet. Has TV. Shantanu helped us getting to Malgund where Poet Keshavsut was born. Konkan Sahitya Parishad has built a monument there which every Marathi person should visit. Prachin Konkan is another best attraction walking distance from the hotel. Of course, you are there for the beach and temple. I recommend a ST ride to Ratnagiri via Kotawade, Nevare. Once in Ratnagiri, do see PatitPawan and Lokmanya Smarak and then Pawas. Its a day trip from Ganapatipule. Overall our trip was made pleasant with generous help from Shree Sagar's staff.
I stayed in the Shree Sagar Hotel for 2 days. Very nice and clean hotel, rooms were spacious and overall, service was nice. Recommend travellers to stay in this hotel. Temple and Beach at 5 min walking distance from the hotel. Hotel food was very tasty and hygienic. Staff members were very helpful. Overall, nice experience.
It was a family get-together for six families. Location was very convenient. Very near the beach and temple. In the vicinity were many restaurants, serving authentic, sumptuous Maharashtrian fare. Rooms were comfortable and spacious and beds were comfortable. Though linen was clean, the curtains were tattered and needed replacement. Unlike some other hotels, room rates were transparent, and no hidden charges. Service was good. Front desk personnel was very helpful. Housekeeping was good, but towels were not changed daily. But on request they were replaced and extra toiletries were also provided. The restaurant on the ground floor was clean and served good Maharashtrian and other food. They catered to special requirements of the children. Pity, they did not have Modaks, which is very famous in Ganapatipule. But for the upkeep of the property, it would have earned more than five stars. Enjoy your time on the pristine beach. You have many beaches nearby with water sports. Also many ancient temples.
I am here with my friend in Ganapatipule for ganpati prayer. We stay here in Shree Sagar Hotel for two days. Room is cosy with all amenities, washroom is clean. Sea view from hotel is awesome, they arrange sea boating. Sea food is delicious and I like specially prawns curry and rice roti.
I had been to this hotel and my stay was good. The hotel was located conveniently and I did not find any difficulties in finding it. The appearance was good and the staff were good in services and friendly in behaviour. The room allotted to me was very good and maintained well with all the amenities in functioning condition. There was no delay during check in and check out process. The hotel is worth for the money.
