Good hotel to stay with good staff service

3.0/7
Posted 31 Jul, 2015

Overall stay was okay, but not good sleep. I stayed there for the night as I need to catch a flight early next morning, and this hotel is near to the Ahmedabad Airport. It was very different from the pictures advertised on websites. Much older building, interior and amenities. The staff were really nice, and helpful, they treated you like their own guests and served very well. Food was nice in their in-house restaurant and the big disappointment was entering the room, the room is huge with all ancient type and old furniture. The air condition was almost 50 years old, making loud noise and hardly cooling the room, on the toilet I found some scorpion like insects, which freak me out all night. To my surprise I was told by one of the stuff that I was the only guest in that hotel that day and business was low. Overall it felt like one of those Haveli type house from a typical ghost movie. I must mention I didn't have a good sleep, no, I won't recommend as there must be other better hotels around there.

Rooms are massive and equipped with basic amenitie

5.5/7
Posted 28 Dec, 2013

Its a royal experience. A heritage house belonged to Divan of Kutch now converted into hotel. Set in a residential locality has its own charm. Its peaceful, calm and makes you feel at home . . The rooms are massive and equipped with all basic amenities. We stayed in the main building. Staff are very helpful and friendly. They serve great food. There is a huge garden. Covered car park. Market at walk-able distance where you can treat yourself to great chat and street food. I would personally not recommend to stay in the annex building, the rooms are okay. If you are very tight on budget then you may opt this.

Great location with spacious rooms

5.0/7

Hotel Siddharth Palace is just good to stay for a day. Rooms are spacious but it badly need renovation. Place is good, location is also great but too much of old structure and restaurant is very old fashioned, seems to be a deserted place. The best place is reception and it is the place where everything is like trendy.

Conveniently located and well-maintained room

6.6/7
Posted 1 Jul, 2015

The hotel was good in appearance. The surrounding of the hotel was also good. The hotel was conveniently located in the city. A good transporting facility was provided from the hotel. The room which was allotted to me was good, clean and maintained. All the basic amenities were provided in the room which were functioning properly. The overall stay was comfortable. It was my couple visit. I had not taken the food from the hotel.

Elegant decoration with great lobby & restaurant

6.7/7
Posted 10 Jun, 2015

My friend and I stayed here about a 2 months back for 3 nights and were especially impressed by the helpfulness of the staff. Most of all the hotel staff aim to please their guests and treat them like royalty. Awesome customer service! The lobby and restaurant were decorated in very elegant way. It's a lovely hotel in a great location.

I went to watch IPL-2014 and stay there for match. It is nearer to stadium but it is in residential area so bit tough but elevation is good and look like katchi type hotel. Overall safe and good for family. Best but there were no much amenities. So value for money but not much.
