Siddhivinayak Beach Resort Reviews
The food is great here. The view from the hotel was amazing as it is very close to the beach. Actually it's the backyard of the resort. Overall it's worth visiting and value for money. The staff was very helping so was the hotel owner. Kids enjoyed it a lot in the sea water. There are great water sports to enjoy like snorkeling, parasailing are wor....Read More
It's very good hotel in average budget. Rooms are available in AC and Non AC type. The food is awesome and very tasty, especially the seafood. Room service is prompt, you can get hot water. It is situated on the seashore. Overall, it's a good experience. Good for groups, family and friends. Will visit again!
It was convenient to locate the hotel and it was close to the bus stop. The appearance of the hotel was good both internally and externally. There was no delay during check-in and checkout. The behaviour of the staff in the hotel was good and they were friendly and helpful in service. The room allotted to me was good and maintained well along with....Read More
As its a beach resort, you simply can spend a whole evening relaxing on the beach with your partner watching the sunset and hearing the waves. Hotel service is good and hotel staff are very friendly, helping in kind. The food taste is really good, rooms are okay but it didn't mattered that much for us, as we enjoyed the scenery and watersports ther....Read More
Hotel was good. It was located in the city and I had no problem to find this hotel. It was situated only 2 minutes distance from sea beach. They arranged hotel name board facility in the city. I went there in my own car. It was holiday trip with my family in May 16, 2014 and it was my marriage anniversary. Inner and outer look of the hotel was deco....Read More
This hotel is beach facing with reasonable cost, silent palace. They have their own water sport activity also. Cooks are better into make Malvani foods. All the people are co-operative. We enjoyed my fathers birthday there. But if you need to relax and want silent environment, please avoid the Saturday - Sunday.
It is a Maharashtrian resort. Good resort for family and couples. Good food for maharashtrian people. I like this hotel. This is sea facing resort. Good service.
Last month, I and my friends went for a malvan trip and we stayed at Siddhivinayak Beach Resort. Here food was good, but room was average. Even the services were also average, and they didn’t offer any activities to enjoy. So we were so bored. There should be some activities in the hotel.
The location is good. Resort has facilities and the food quality as well as service is very good. It is good for a family tour. The destination is good and will come here again with my friend.

I went to Tarkarli for the first time after reading a review on the Holiday IQ. We booked Siddhivinayak Beach resort after liking the reviews. The hotel is run by two brothers along with their family. We booked the first room which is very close to the beach and we could hear the waves from the room. It was one of the most memorable experience in my stay. The food served was awesome, simple, home cooked, wholesome food. Veg as well as non veg thali was good. We stayed for over 3 nights and 4 days and it cost us only around Rs 1500/- per head for three people. The brothers also took us sight seeing in their boat around the backwaters and sangam point. We caught glimpses of dolphins diving around the boat. The hospitality and warmth experienced there cannot be compared to impersonal hotels. If you want to travel on budget to Tarkarli, this is the best place to spend your money on. The hotel is on devbag beach which is an hour away from kudal station. The rickshawala charges Rs300 from kudal to devbaug. But the journey is worth the whole experience. We felt like we were staying with kind relatives, infact we were showered with free coconut, bon fire and extra breakfast. Ask for 1st room if you plan to stay there.
Malwan, Tarkarli and Deobag are places where I truly felt at home while being miles away from it. It is that very virtue which transforms a vacation where you usually are worried about train timings, flight schedules, check-on-out times into a place where taking a few steps out of your room connects you with the ocean & it\'s variegated delights. A lions share of that can be attributed to the place I was staying in. This resort is more of a family run home-stay of sorts and is managed by a family of brothers headed by Manoj Khobrekar. You\'ll meet all three generations of Khobrekars here and while I can\'t say much for other tourists, I for one had a great time just interacting with everyone in their family. They were so kind as to facilitate my trips to-from Malwan, take requests at my whims and fancies and even accept insane touristy challenges (which I\'ll mention in detail later). They treated me not like a regualr guest/customer as most other hoteliers do, but as part of their extended family. I can go on with these little adventures but it\'d be best if you travel down there and enjoy a slice of their hospitality yourself. Great sea-food, hospitably location & brilliant hosts. Oh and having rooms just 15 feet away from the beach doesn\'t hurt either.
A Very good location bang in front of the beach. It was an amazing experience. The food was delicious and even the services was excellent..would just like to say it was an memorable trip for us.
Getting there : Devbag is located 4 K.M. South of tarkarli. and 10.0 K.M. from Malvan city. By road travel you require 11 to 12 hours to reach here from Mumbai. But if you catch Konkan Railway \' Konkankanya\' at 22.00 at Mumbai CST you reach Kudal by 8.00 in the morning. Devbag is just 1.00 hour drive from Kudal. The resoprt can arrange for your vehicle if you book in advance. location: The Sidhdhivinayak beach resort is located dot on devbag beach 4 K.M. South of Tarkarli. The nearness of sea you experience here can not experience in any other hotel in the vicinity. The beach is just 10 feet away from the first room. You can just lay back and hear the roaring waves. This beach resort is run by Manoj, Sujan and Pramod Khobrekar brothers. The resort is like other resorts / hotels run by local families. But no other resort ( even the professional ones ) may match the hospitality you experience here. The resort does not have the formal front office. But you can get the service you want just by calling any body from the house. The rooms are neat and clean and can easily accomodate 3 people. Toilets are clean. The beds have foam matresses and extra bed provided was also of very good quality. Bedspreads and Pillow covers were clean. I stayed in other resort a day before at Tarkarli and my experience was very bad. Here you get more than you deserve for Rs.700.00 per night. Getting around : If you have your own vehicle then no problem at all. But if you don\'t have one then also you can hire rikshaw or catch S.T. bus to Malwan and You can go around. You can have a look at the sea fort Sindhudurg Built by the Great Maratha Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. You are amazed to see the strength of the fort. built admist the sea water. The area of the fort is 45 acres. You have to reach to the fort in motor boat. The only temple of Shivaji Maharaj is on this fort. You can also see the foot print and impression of the right palm of Shivaji Maharaj. You can enjoy snorkelling around Sindhudurg fort. It is the only place in maharashtra where snorkelling facility is available. You can watch a lot species of different fishes, corals etc. Its a lifetime experience for every body enen those who can not sweem. The cost for Sindhudurg fort sigth seeing and snorkelling for three was Rs.840.00. The famous Bharadi devi temple is 17 k.m. from Malvan. Eating out: In Malwan city you can eat at Chaitanya or Swami. Both are good. A good Buy: Cashew nuts, Cashew laddu, Kokam Sharbat, Amla Sharbat, malwani khaja are favorits.
