I stayed there for 5 days. This was a family trip. I went by my car and it was comfortable to reach there. Parking facility was there. They gave us a fruit basket and it was good. Breakfast was complimentary and it was nice. They had cottage type rooms and also had duplex type but both were good. The main attraction of the hotel was the campus and the room. It was well-decorated. There was a nice artificial lake for playing in. They do have bonfire, campfire, swimming pool, and massage etc. Everything was available in this hotel. Room was very good. Services of the hotel were very good. Reception people were also very good. Appearance of the hotel was very nice. Location of the hotel was good. Taste wise and price wise, food and drink was good. Activity part was nice. Mysore as a place is very good to visit. I went there in November or December. It is a recommendable hotel very much.

On a holiday with six childhood friends, to unwind from work and catch up on days gone by, we got into an Innova from Bangalore and headed to Mysore in June 2013. One of our friends who had visited Silent Shores earlier with family recommended this place because it was more economical and that it was. We paid around Rs 1,400 per head for two days. When we arrived in the afternoon, we wanted to satiate our hunger and decided to go to the bar and restaurant at the resort. Apart from Peanut Masala, chicken lollipop and chilli chicken, they refused to toss up anything for us. Particularly keeping in mind that the resort was away from city centre. We thanked our driver who made a quick stop at Rasta Cafe on the way where we had a filling brunch. After a relaxing afternoon at the bar that had only one table occupied and that was by us, we decided to take a dip in the pool. Especially after the beautiful photographs that we saw online. The swimming pool did not disappoint. Along with us, there was a family of four (parents and two twin daughters) in the pool. We made use of having the entire pool to ourselves and played around for over two hours till the swimming coach came around at 7 pm and asked us to exit the pool as they were shutting for the day. That evening, we decided to dine at the open air restaurant by the lake of the resort. Hot Rumali Rotis with tasty Butter Chicken under the blanket of stars with a group of near and dear ones made it a magical experience. Despite it being a weekend, the resort wasn't as crowded as we had imagined it to be. But, a staff from the resort told us as we were checking out that June is a good time for youngsters to visit because families don't frequent as school kids have exams. That's an important tip to keep in mind. If I were to visit this resort again, I would carry some snacks like Thepla and chips with me. In case the kitchen bails out on us. But, from experience I know, nothing else will.

It is the best place to get relaxed. As the name suggests the place is very silent and calm. It has a man made lake which is very good to see. The swimming pool is excellent. Food over here is very good compared to other resorts. It is very near to the city so can go for site seeing from the resort easily.

We spent last weekend at Silent shores and had a great time. The cottages were big and the bed accommodated three people, so we didn't need to ask for an extra bed. For me, the best part was the sandal oil massage. I do not normally care for Ayurveda massages, but this one is heavenly and don't miss in the resort.

I can say I had a great time staying at Silent Shores. Must visit resort in Mysore. Rooms are very nice and nice food. Spa experience was nice and the pool in the resort is huge and nice. They have a lake inside the resort. Dining under the stars in front of the lake with candle light is away a feeling.

Purpose of our visit was to celebrate our daughter\'s birthday and our wedding anniversary. My husband will always gives us surprise and it would be best of the best places he would be taking us. It is a wonderful resort, full of greeneries all around, very natural look, location where we stayed was awesome. My husband and my daughter enjoyed very well in swimming pool which looks very nice with an artistic walls all around and the lake, fountain, greeny bed all around the room was fantastic. The creative nature was really looking natural and eye catching

1. Swimming pool was fantastic and as I said above my husband and my daughter enjoyed very well. it is quite big, crystal clear, artistic, lovely bluish base.
Bed was really good and comfortable. Me, my husband and our daughter felt really good. Basically the room it self was very nice, it is just beside the small lake, felt like staying there for more number of days.
2.Staff was really good and were handling the requests very well. house keeping service was also really good.
3. I can only say if you are a nature lover, then please visit silent shores resort, where you can find greeneries all-around, flowers all-around. The restaurants both out door and in door are really good. lovely swimming pool, beautiful location to stay and to celebrate any parties. Romantic location too.

4. Enjoy the same way we enjoyed while celebrating our daughter\'s birthday. we would like to stay in the room near by to the indoor pool because the noise of the water also has its own beauty which will make us enjoy a lot.
we usually carry all essentials
