Hotel Review of Ras Resorts Silvassa
Comments: well, the resort is good, but the distance betwen the rooms and the comon area like swiming pool, resturant, reception, is too long, its tiresome .
Best Experience: new rooms are good, i was given upgrade as my room was having lot of ants.hence the upgradation made me stay 2nights,else its dificult to spend 2 days at the resort. health club is smal but ok , good landscape n garden, resort is complete river side, so it wud be heaven during monsoon...
Worst Experience: food is pathetic, service at resturant is damn slow, and if you are not in the food package, then you hardly have any choice from the menu , you can only order from the buffet menu at alal carte. food prices are toooo high comparing to the resort and the taste,very less ooptions of snacks, and less options for kids play n food.staff is not very warm,

The place is neat and clean, so are the rooms, my room { executive type } was quite far from the restaurant and by the time we returned to our room after lunch/dinner half of the food would be digested !...

The service was very pathetic. very slow had to be reminded everytime. Food was just ok. No variation. Similar type of soups for lunch and dinner. At the time of booking they did not inform that the swimming pool was under repairs. would not recommend it....

The resort suffered a lot of damage during the floods last year. Renovation process is on. A good place to stay for the weekend once renovation is through. Rates are on the higher side....

The resort overlooks the Daman-Ganga river, so possible to walk down to the river. The resort has a decent pool. Resort provides just basic info on what vacationers can do around Silvassa and Daman....
