The best place to stay in Kalimpong is at the Silver Oaks Hotel. It's a premium hotel, reallocated with helpful staff. I had stayed there for one night on September 23, 2014. Almost none of the hotels in the small town of Kalimpong accept credit card payments but this hotel does so I was very happy. I got a warm welcome with a traditional stole around my neck and a glass of cherry brandy . . I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there. My room was absolutely lovely and the food was great. Besides the normal facilities offered by a premium hotel, this hotel is walloped with a library, a restocked bar, and an in-house movie service. There's a small business centre too. The hotel decors as well as the garden are beautiful. It's the best hotel in Kalimpong for an enjoyable stay !.
Kalingpong city is beautiful and Kalingpong Point is beautiful. Good service, good hotels and nearby market. In hotel North and South Indian food available. In hotel children facilities is good and beautiful room. Beautiful garden area, best room service and good experience in hotel.
It had been ages since, I last went for a vacation. I am from Malda, West Bengal but I spent nine years in Kalimpong as, I was a student whose school was situated in Kalimpong. Now that I had completed my graduation, I thought of going back to Kalimpong for a vacation and choose to spend a night at this hotel. I will tell you why When I was a kid(9 years back), I heard from many a people that, this hotel is fabulous luxurious and the service was so good but it was expensive as well could not afford back then neither could my mom (a single parent)but now that I have money, I thought of giving it a try. Man the hotel was awesome so-so good on the inside attractive from the outside, I had got large glass windows out of which we could see the view of the Mountains. The Bus Stand and the town is not far from the hotel it's around 500metres away from the hotel It has got a mini park outside. The staff were very polite gentle and not at all rude. Nepali people are very gentle, I have spent 9 years of my life with them. Also since, the hotel offers a lot do not expect it to be cheap it's expensive around Rs. 7100 for a night stay. If you plan on visiting this place definitely, stay at this hotel and do visit Durpin Dara and Deolo Hill also relli khola(river) I like river rafting.
Very comfortable, cosy place in the heart of Kalimpong. Ideal for relaxing with family. Very well appointed rooms with great views. Excellent lawns and space to laze and take in the sunshine. Extremely courteous staff with smiling faces, eager to help. Good food and an excellent bar Highly recommended.
