Silver Spring Resort, Amboli
House No. 1238, Plot No. 40E/1-G Near Petrol Pump
Amboli up till now was a hidden gem for me-of which I came to know quite recently. Decided to visit and then started my hunt for a decent budget hotel. After quite an extended research we landed up at the silver spring resort- amboli. It is a home away from home. The rooms are kept clean and tidy. There was no dampness in the rooms in september. The staff was polite and always on their toes. The manager dilipbhai is very friendly. He even shared his culinary experiences with us by teaching us to make some good malwani cuisines. Well the housekeeping was good and so was the service of the restaurant. The food served was fresh and tasty specially the junka bhakhar, patta Gobi-alu subji and the Bhindi subji. A covered sit out with coffee tables would do wonders. I would definately recommend silver spring resort and amboli to family and friends.
Amboli is my most loved place in Maharashtra. Best time to visit Amboli is stormy season. You are thoroughly invigorate when gone to this spot. Hiranyakeshi Ugam, Kavlesathpoint, Mahadevgad point must went to puts. No word to clarify the excellence of Amboli Ghat and Waterfall in blustery season. Go down a couple ventures behind those tea/nibble slows down and investigate this stunning waterfall. There is an only a little exhibition where you can appreciate the magnificence and snap pics. Not a lot to do there, 15-20 min are more than adequate to visit this spot. It was around 2:15 PM and we were truly ravenous. So we backtracked looking for nourishment. I truly would not like to every at my Hotel however tragically there are very little alternatives in Amboli. We chose to experiment with Silver Spring Resort Restaurant and we didn't think twice about it. Returned to lodging at 4 PM. As of now excessively drained, making it impossible to do whatever else and really was nothing else left to investigate too. So spent rest of day inside the room. Had that (miserable) Dinner at JRD eatery and next morning we intentionally left at 6 AM, so we hit the interstate by breakfast time. Return trip was great. Saw loads of peacocks on my way back. Sawantvadi is only 30 km far from Amboli its acclaimed for wooden toys other than wooden items. This spot and the perspective from here to a great degree lovely and grand. Besides on the off chance that you are in this spot amid the storms its simply out of the world experience.
The stay was pleasant and the food was mind blowing. If u want to enjoy authentic malwan food then this is the place. The staff were so co-oprative that they made us feel like home. Ambience was any day better than any hill station. Dont miss the sunset poient. Over all experience fantastic n looking forward to visit again
worth staying at hotel. Heartiest congratulations to mr. sawant for managing hotel & approach towards service. Will definitely like to visit once gain.
Amboli is kind of the last destination before you head south into Goa. The place is a village. But the hotel makes up for that. You get a balcony and it is very close to the petrol pump station. The service is good. You have to take care in the rainy season though, Amboli is famous for snakes. Also, if visiting this hotel take sometime out to visit Mahadeo point which is just 2-3 km from the hotel.
