Kashi is a place I have been visiting for ages due to culture and food. This time my team had to go on Ganga expedition so we choose this Sita Guest House and the room we were allocated were more than sufficient. Extra gaddas were provided for one person per room. Just nearby the Ganges were flowing at its peak in monsoon and we all had a good time. The local guide affiliated to this house took us to all local hotels for a great Purvanchali food. Parking options are limited here during festival time.
I have good experience in Sita Guest House. Stairs are too high which problem for aged people. Far from the main road, have to walk near about 500 meter from main road by crossing narrow lane and lane is very dirty. Food Price too high but quantity and quality good. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Don't take local sightseeing cab from hotel because they charge near about double than market place. Every day they did cleaning, toilets are clean. Room Service poor, due to communication problem, no intercom facilities available. Maximum rooms are Ganges view. All the rooms are more or less same. Overall experience good.
I stayed at Sita guest house for five days in August 2013. The owner was pretty good and corrected any concerns I had. We arranged a pick up service, but I had to phone them from Varanasi train station to remind them. I had a single room overlooking the Ganges from the side of the hotel for RS.400 per night and I enjoyed every moment of it
Over all experience is good. View of river \'Ganga\' specially early morning and evening is great. best time to visit October to February. Obseve the Ganga Arati in evening from boat is excellent.
WHile it was a unique spiritual expereince the stay at Sita Guest House I would rate as average or below average. The attendants the manager all seem to differentiate nationalities with Indians espl south Indians being given a less than fair treatment
