The overall experience of the hotel was very good. I had visited this hotel with my wife. The check in and checkout process was done on time. The behaviour of the staff’s was good in the hotel. The room allotted to me was neat and clean. All amenities were provided in the room. The hotel was value for money. The service was good in the hotel. The activity was not arranged by the hotel. I would recommend this hotel to upcoming travellers.
Hotel was close to railway station, temple and private bus stands. Staff were polite. We reached the hotel around 8.30 and they managed to get us early check in. Our actual check in was at 12. Inside rooms were clean and well maintained. So it was quite pleasing to enter the room. I had stayed just one day so don't have much to say about the hotel. But yes overall a good hotel to stay.
Food is very very good. Service & treatment was best. We received very good knowledge and also treatment of massage. Mr. Salim has given us good information and guidance of site seeing and back water trip. Food, breakfast lunch & dinner we enjoyed very much. Room was small, but we used it for slipping only. Food is very very good. Service & treatment was best.
I had visited Alleppey in July with family members -- 10 adults and 2 children -- for a short vacation. On my previous visit a couple of years back, we had stayed at Snehadhara and had thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality of Mr. Saleem and his family who run the place. So we decided to go there again. And we were yet again delighted. The best thing about Snehadhara is the tasty food that they serve; if you tell them in advance what you want to eat, they will make it for you. You will never once be disappointed. In our group, four of the family members had come from Himachal. And their favourite item on the menu was dosa and chutney so much so that they would ask for it at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Dosa, idiyappam, and aappam are commonly served with chutney, vegetable stew, egg roast, etc. There are good options for non-vegetarians as well, and we tried fish, which was fantastic. The only downside is that since they prepare the food fresh every time, your wait time is higher. The place is well connected and accessible. The beach, boating area, marketplace and other places of interest are within a couple of kilometers. We were pleased to see that Snehadhara has added new facilities to their homestay such as an outdoor cafe and new massage rooms. Their cottages are comfortable and gives you an earthy feel - it certainly was value for money. But beware of mosquitoes due to the abundant greenery around. Mr. Saleem helped us with a house boat for a day outing, which turned out to be memorable, and also recommended wholesale shops from where we could buy dry fruits and spices. Overall, we had a wonderful experience.
We, a group of 10 family members set out for a trip to Guruvayur Temple and Alleppey during the first week of April '15. On a overall basis the trip was successful and enjoyable. With regard to our stay at Snehadhara Homestay, we have to conclude the same as a well fairly good one but for the few odd things. It is located in a strategic location and one would not find any difficulty to reach the place. First of all we have to appreciate Mr. Saleem and his wife for their receptive and accommodating nature. They have wide variety of food and dishes for starters and main course including the specialities of Kerala. Surprisingly all items are made with home touch. On the amenities side we feel that Mr. Saleem has to concentrate more. Cleanliness is another grey area which attracts criticisms from the guests. Bed linen & pillow covers are typical example for this. Other facilities, we can say, are fairly good. With regard to sightseeing tourists must have some fair knowledge of attraction in that area. Regarding Boat House they have to plan a bit more, because wide choices are available involving time to be spent in the Boat House, facilities available and the appearance of the Boat House.
Worth for the money we spend. The food which served was awesome, made it based on our taste, and we all felt like staying at our home, they are always approachable on mobile and also helping us in finding the correct path for reaching the place. They are advisable too to us like a relatives, and very kind to us, even when the kids are roaming here and there, We have been treated like a guests, I will definately suggest people who wanted to go for a trip to Alleppey can approach snehadhara homestay and book the rooms in advance. I wish all the best to them and keep on your good service. Will see you again.
The house is an ancient bungalow maintained nicely by Mr Salim and his family consiting of his mother, wife and 2 daughters. Location is just a 2 min auto drive from the KSRTC bus stand. All the meals and breakfast they offered us were just fabulous, cooked by the owners themselves. Laundry, room cleaning, other tips - everything was good. Their houseboat has an upper deck and has good food and service. Rates were cheaper than all the others in that grade. Overall a very good experience.Thank you.
My stay at this hotel was good and the hotel was located in the city. The staffs at this hotel were friendly and I did not face any problem in check-in and check-out process. The appearance of the hotel was very good. The room allotted was normal and the amenities well-functioning. We ate food from the hotel and it was good in taste with reasonable tariff. They had organised for activities but we did not utilize it because we did not have time. The hotel was worthy and I had been with my family for relaxation purpose.
The hotel was not centrally located. I had difficulty in finding the hotel. It was a relaxation trip with family. The room was very good with all amenities. It was also well furnished with an attached wash-room. The hotel had a homely atmosphere. The service was not good. They made delay in check-in and check-out procedure. The food was good in quality and taste. The staff were good and friendly. The hotel was like a home stay but the interiors were very good. There was a parking space for our car. I would suggest them to add more staff for good service. I would recommend this hotel to other travellers.
