The owner of the hotel is a self styled, probably psycho 'gunda' personality with local friends and his brother. Had a terrible saturday night with a when all of our group was threatened, man handled and terrorised by the owner himself. Goes by the name some Avowal. Had a tussle with him due to some mis understanding on his part. "Ek ek ko kaat ke bhejenge", wouldnt allow our car (Fortuner) to be taken. Thanks to God, we escaped unscathed from his 'property'. I hope nobody falls into his "anger net" anytime.
The best part of the hotel was parking place. The food was very nice in the hotel. There was no problem to reach the hotel. The transportation facility was not provided by the hotel. There was no activity arranged by the hotel. I would like to recommend this hotel to upcoming travellers.
The hotel is located just before Chakrata starts which gives it a good advantage of being away from the hustle and bustle of town. The hotel and its rooms are very spacious and gives a very cozy environment. The food offered by the staff here is amazing and they are very co-operative. There is s beautiful belly just behind the hotel that you can explore if you have a thing to discover the wild. The best part of stay in this hotel is the view of sunrise. You can see the snow covered peaks of mountains amidst sunrise. I would highly recommend this hotel.
The hotel was unique with the good views and very large rooms. The sun rise point was also nearby. The hotel had a feel of being coming to heritage property and good silence was there so as one can relax peacefully. The staff was trained and well mannered with quick services.
The experience at the hotel was not good. The room was spacious but the walls were not painted. There were no difficulties to find the hotel. The hotel was located centrally inside the city and was in main road. The staff's at the hotel were friendly and helpful. I was not happy with the room allotted. There was no one in the reception area so there was delay in check in and checkout. The room allotted was not clean. The amenities were functioning properly. Hot water facility was also not provided inside the hotel. The food facility was not there inside the hotel. The hotel was not value for the money. I would not recommend this hotel for the upcoming travellers. I had visited the hotel for official purpose. I would suggest the hotel to improve their service and also cleanliness of the hotel.
Hotel is very good with spacious rooms. Food here is very nice. Sunrise point is its best. It is located very close to Chakrata Main Market. I have spent two days there and enjoyed a lot. View of mountains from this hotel is so good. The caretakers are so frank and serves very well.
The best area of this hotel with abbreviate adjacency to city-limits makes it a adopted Choice to break there. The abode has a adorableness and ancestry feel. The access is little attenuated but the angle are beautiful. The agents is accessible and accommodating but amuse accumulate your expectations low in agreement of facilities, hygiene and alignment options. The apartment and baby and cosy and the bathrooms accept an advantage of hot active water, which one would like to accept in the acclimate that rules this place. Kitchen offers bound advance during meals, about requests like milk, coffee, tea and candy can be fulfilled. There are 20 apartment of which about 7-8 are ancestors suites. This is congenital on a big property, an old bungalow, with some new rooms. No disturbance of city, in absolutely quiet ambiance (just 1 km from city-limits aboideau and 3 km from market). Visited abounding hotels there and bring it to be best amidst them. Agents is acceptable and alignment is as well good. Their division tariff includes cafe meals. View from auberge is awesome. Prices are low. No added abode in Chakrata can bout this.
The spot has a stunner and legacy feel. The methodology is minimal tight yet the perspectives are delightful. The staff is useful and obliging, yet please keep your desires low as far as offices, cleanliness and nourishment alternatives. The rooms and little and comfy and the bathrooms have a choice of hot running water, which one might want to have in the climate that principles this spot. Kitchen offers restricted spread amid suppers, however demands like milk, espresso, tea and snacks can be satisfied. We chose the twofold room one and it had a chimney! Which obviously the grinning staff tended for us at night. Lights off, flame blazing and sitting in the french window setting, simply right. Nourishment was great, unattractive in effortlessness. Breakfast in the open veranda, shocking perspective to boot, it was justified regardless of each and every rupee. Once more, this spot can be treasured for area, cool to chilly climate and truly experience; keep the desires of extravagance for some next place.
I visited Snow Valley with my family and I did not have any difficulty in finding this hotel. There was no delay in check-in and check-out. The appearance of the hotel was good and all the facilities were available. The staff were very quick, friendly to us. The room was very specious, neat and clean. We had a very good view from the room. The food was good and was worth for money. There were no activities and they did not conduct any of the sightseeing facility. My stay was worth for money and I would recommend this hotel for other travellers.

Chakrata is a nondescript Cantonment nestled at about 2100 m above sea level and accessible by road from Delhi - about 330 Kms. and by train upto Dehradun and thereafter by road through Mussourie-Kempty falls at an distance of about 90 Kms. It offers outstanding view of Bandarpoonch Range & Swargarohini of Himalayas. It also has some interesting excursions like Deoban, Tiger falls, Kanasar & Mundali etc.
We stayed in this hotel two weeks ago yet it sticks in our memory as a wonderful holiday. We stayed at hotel Snowview for 5 days with our friends and collegues to get out from a boring working schedule at metro\'s. The whole experience was memorable. We stayed in a sun view room, as we were all welcomed on arrival, including a welcome drinks and snacks with a lovely start to the holiday. The view was superb and exciting from the hotel. There are some great trips to do, as a group we went out for trekking on a mountain and we managed camp fire at the night but one thing i must stay and admired that the owner of the hotel(Mr.Vikas Aggarwal) is very friendly and helped us a lot.Anybody can trust him blindly. The staff were helpful, really friendly and chatty. The staff working at this hotel was always very helpful and even was anticipating your almost every need during the stay. Rooms along with bathrooms were clean, spacious and stylish. Food (amazing variety of dishes) was more than delicious and there is a great variety for breakfast and lunch. The entertainment is pretty amusing, one evening was traditional dancing which was great fun. All in all this was a great hotel, good value for money and a great place for a group holiday and wedding.
I visited Chakrata with my family in Sept 2012. Wanted to get away from the routine and boring schedule of Delhi , in search of some dedicated family time . Booked the corner room with 2 double beds , was travelling with 2 kids. The hotel is clean and staff is good , if not excellent. Best thing about the hotel is a small enclosure towards the end , almost on the cliff - magnificent sunrise view, one can spend hours together just sitting there enjoying the view. Since we were travelling with children aged 3 and 7 years , we were carrying stuff like milk cans , knorr soups and maggi . .The hotel manager and staff was courteus enough to prepare these items in their kitchen at ver nominal charges. While the manager also runs a shop in hotel premises and you can get a typical provisions and basic stuff there itself . Extra pillows , blankets and fire wood also provided. A bonfire was arranged for us. The hotel has a decent kitchen and food was OK , nothing much to talk about , basic dal chawal and sabji roti was well prepared. Simply enjoyed the stay at this hotel for its location. Will stay there again if I visit Chakrata. Best in low budget given the facilities available. While being in Chakrata and looking around , figured out that there are not may food options in the area so I guess one should manage with whatever basic is available. Must visit tiger falls , go prepared for a long trek . Could not make it to Deobans due to bad roads , will still recommend.
I went with my wife and a lady friend. We are all SCZN. The hotel location is outstanding specially the room we stayed. Snowview room facing northeast. We could not view the mountains due to haze but we had outstanding sunrise view. Spectacular. The owner is excellent human being with a very efficient and courteous staff. Rates-very resonable. Could not have a better holiday
In the first week of January 2014 we visited Chakrata along with my cousins. As we are all into the corporate culture so we wanted a short break from our hectic life and then we decided to head towards Chakrata. We booked a suite of two attached rooms with a single bathroom in hotel Snow view and the tariff was quite reasonable; for two days and one night it was 1500/-. But basic amenities as in appearance of rooms was average and bathroom was not that good as it should be. One has to carry his or her toiletries. Rooms were spacious and extra blankets were provided as it was so cold at night. Mattresses were good, even they lit coals in the fireplace to make the room warm, it was 100/- for one bucket coal and it was enough for 1 night. Food was not good, but for breakfast we ordered omelet, paranthas and all time favourite maggi and it was good in the hill stations. TV was only in one room and it was also not good. View from our room was very nice but from other suites it was awesome, so if someone is looking for the view from their room then they can select any other room, although you can go anywhere in the hotel surroundings. Staff was good but the service was not on time. There is restaurant or any market and shop at the walking distance but there is a main market called Sadar Bazar at 1.5 or 2 km distance with limited shop and restaurant options. It is destination where one can relax well and can enjoy great weather and sunrise, sunset. In the front of rooms there is open space where one can sit and enjoy their tea/ coffee and valley. Overall good experience.
