My stay in the Soma Kerala Palace when I had been to Kochi (Cochin) during the month of December 2016. It was my holiday trip with family. The place where I had been to was good. My hotel location was very good because of transportation facility. The appearance of the hotel was average. Hotel front office was very good as they will respond quickly with appropriate information. I booked my room through online. I would rate the services in the hotel were average. Rooms which we stayed in were very good because of available facilities. The food which was served in the hotel was good, we can have a large menu of items.
This was a trip with family for friend marriage in the month of February. The destination was good. The location of the hotel was good as it was conveniently located near the railway station. The ambience of the hotel was average. The front office was average since the staff's were not quick for our needs and most of the time they were not available. There were food provided in the hotel but we didn’t make use of it. The overall services were average and not up to mark. There were Wi-Fi facilities provided but the password wasn’t given.
Kovalam is not better than goa. Infact goa is far better than Kovalam. Now coming to the hotel. Hotel is good. Food is good. Staff is good. Location is good. Front office staff kept giving so many chocolates to kids who stayed there. Ayurvedic massage facility is there.
It is nice experience about living between water. There are no land way adjoined with the hotel. Nice location with swimming pool and other amenities. Best Location in middle of water which I have ever seen. I can say the best romantic place.
I stayed in this hotel with my wife during a short trip to Vaikom. I had driven a car for 10-11 hours and wanted a nice place to relax and this resort came as an elixir. As the location was a bit unusual, we were asked to wait near the gate with car. Then one boat came and the security guard helped us park a car. From that location, we boarded the boat with luggage and reached this marvelous resort in the middle of lake. The boat ride was provided free of cost to all the guests free-of-cost. Once we reached there, we were welcomed with a refreshing welcome drink. Then we were guided to the room. The rooms were small and connecting. They had wooden interiors with ancient touch. The overall, room appearance was similar to houseboat. As there is mosquito trouble, mosquito net was attached over the bed. The bathroom was also small but sufficed our needs. Complimentary breakfast was delicious. However, dinner was expensive and there was no other choice as we were in the middle of lake. Overall, it was a good experience for a short trip. Advice : Carry mosquito repellent.
Nice hotel with good staff. I shall go again with my son family in future. I shall strongly recommend to other people for stay at least two night. Good food, clean pool, good room size with lush-green garden. I was there for one night and could not join any spa, or yoga. Nest time I shall go for the same. A wonderful place to stay.

This is the paradise on earth. I visited this hotel on 10/08/15. That was a pleasure trip for me. But the major fantasy of my trip was the experience in this hotel. The attitude of the employees of the hotel to the guests is really awesome. They treated us very well. The hotel and the restaurant is neat and tidy. The rooms are also really good. The food is really delicious and hygienic. This hotel stays in my mind as a precious paradise.
We visited Kerala last year to enjoy the natural beauty of the place. During this visit we stayed in this beautiful hotel. The location of the hotel is awesome. It is a peaceful, serene place. Rooms are large and comfortable. Toilets are clean and shiny. Foods provided in the lunch are hygienic and tasty. We were thrilled.
Top Reviews of Soma Kerala Palace
This lodging was prescribed to us by a homestay as a little extravagance in the middle of a day trip in the backwaters and a night on a house vessel. We watched a typhoon come nearer from a little cabin in the greenery enclosures that was truly fun. The setting is dazzling, and private pontoon ride there is such a fun expansion. Invited with beverages and neighborly staff. The room was normal, with almost no common light and not solid confirmation so we had the capacity hear youngsters sitting in front of the TV upstairs which wasn't exceptionally unwinding - however the arranging encompassing the verifiable structures are likely the spot to be in a setting, for example, this! We had Ayurvedic back rubs in the treatment focus. We hadn't had this sort of back rub some time recently, and it wasn't something both of us were utilized to. We've never been asked to simply wear expendable jeans, and they pour and rub oil ALL over you. Maybe we're as a rule hardened upper lip Brits, yet it wasn't the unwinding hour we're utilized to! You need to have a meeting with a specialist before you have this back rub as well. Extremely odd. It was off season, so I assume that was the reason a great deal of things were accessible on the menu. We additionally needed to request our nourishment an hour ahead of time from our rooms, and afterward make a beeline for the eatery after. It's most likely diverse in crest season. Again attributable to it being off season, there were tempests, so we lost power as often as possible at night, however one needs to expect this in tempests. The staff were well disposed, and I would certainly suggest this place, the setting is truly otherworldly and sentimental.
the destination very beautiful, this one of the best hotel in this place, we had a fantastic welcome, the food was very delicious and tasty
Nice location surrounding water , Excellent Rooms , Beautiful Landscaping , Best Experience: as it was 5 star hotel and so expected, designs and facilities and services were very good but i will point out . - the food, steaks and were OK . they have 1 restaurants - rooms were large and everything was designed nicely. beds were very comfortable and we had a full glass window view of Lake from our room. - pool was very large and there are many pool side benches to rest and we enjoyed i would love pool was on ground :) - we experienced good services. and staff is educated and talk nicely. though we did not need anything special but still i think they had fast service. - i think the cost was around 10000 per day for our deluxe rooms each. the rooms and facilities they gave in this were expected but still exceptional from other average hotels..
Great place to make a stay for a place like this. Really a great service to tourist and a good response from reception made so easy to have a stay and feel so comfort. They provide all Kerala special foods according to our selection. All type of food also available, good accommodation of rooms. Comfortable rooms and great place to stay.
I and my husband along with our 6 yr old son visited this place in the month of August, 2014. Must say the place is awesome and as it can be accessed only through their private jetty which comes for a pick-up at the dock, the tranquility is maintained. We got upgraded to one of the best rooms - The Maharaja Suite. Which has completely wooden furnished interiors to give you the authentic feel. Service is superb and was lucky to have customized and private candle light dinner at their sunset watching tower. Enjoyed my stay.
