The Purpose of my visit was to do pooja for my friend in Somnath temple but it was held at old temple. The Destination hotel what we lived in is of low cost but provided is better according to its cost but the room service is worst. They Don't even response for our requirements and even won't pay any attention towards us and they don't even response for our requirements such as Water to be provided. It is advised for travelers to take a cool pack of Water of 10 Liters with buying not be meant by them because they provide Salty Water for Drinking Better first ask all the basic requirements for yourself to stay in that trust such as room service, water facility regarding salty or sweet, and security. Etc.
The check in and checkout process was done on time. All amenities were provided in the room. The food service was not provided in the hotel. The activity was not organized by the hotel. The internet connection was not provided in the room. The temple was nearby the hotel. The transportation facility was not provided at the hotel.
Location wise it's good, just back side of Somnath Temple and in front of seaside. Room was so big but not maintained properly. Food quality is too bad. This property was built by Mr. Dhirubhai Ambani. I think and I saw that this property at present is not maintained properly and it's destroying. My pray to the trustee / board please maintain this property. Like us so many people are going to stay and see Jyotirling. Somnath Trust House the only very good place to stay at Somnath.
As it is a trust run hotel, the rooms are average, though the AC rooms some of them were well maintained. The hotel is close to shopping areas but the main temple is a good 8-10 minutes walking distance. Plenty of eateries in the market are. Hot water available only early morning. Overall an okay hotel for one night stay but if looking for good rooms in budget then look for other hotels the trust provides.
We were a group of 30 people and stayed at Somnath Trust. The hotel is hardly 15 minutes walk from temple. It is very spacious and the maintenance was also good. They also provide breakfast, lunch and dinner in the hotel. The hotel tariffs are nominal at Rs. 1000 per day for a two bed room. The food is also reasonably priced and it is better to have food at the hotel's restaurant rather than having it somewhere outside.
Good hotel, good services and good food. Good places, near to Somnath temples and good location in Somnath. Near to shopping center, Somnath by-pass, near Railway Station.
