I had visited this hotel with my family. The food quality and quantity was nice. The hotel was located outside the city. The parking facility was provided at the hotel. The transportation facility was not provided by the hotel. I had paid separately payment for food.
We had been to Splendour Country Club for company yearly one day outing in August 15. The route to reach this place is full of natural beauty and is behind Khadakwasla Dam. As that was monsoon season, the appearance and the location has covered with full of greenery and feel was pleasant. It was a club with some adventure games, and it was really nice experience to enjoy those. Initially we have been served with breakfast and after our first half of playing adventure games it was time for lunch that was also good (but pure veg! ). Overall nice place to visit for some group activities.
If you are planning to spend a weekend full of fun, masti and adventure, and don't want to go too far from Pune, then Splendour Country is the perfect place to go. Approximately 40 km from the heart of the city, this resort is located towards the northwest corner the picturesque Khadakwasla lake. The road from Warje flyover is not very good in patches but once you reach here, it feels worth the ride. Parking, decent cottages, two very well maintained swimming pools, Jacuzzi, adventure sports and a lot of indoor and outdoor activities makes it a perfect weekend fun destination for all walks of life. The only disadvantage for a few would be the food availability which is only vegetarian. No liquor available but you can carry your own. This place is by the Lake so I will advice that you carry some warm clothes as it can become a bit cold after your pool sessions. Overall, a very good place to go.
I had not faced any difficulty to reach the resort. I had my own vehicle to travel to the hotel. The surrounding of the hotel was very nice and beautiful. The staffs of the hotel were very nice and helpful. The food of the hotel was very good in quality. It was also reasonable in price. Check-in and checkout was very good and on time. The room was well cleaned with all working amenities in it. The greenery view could be viewed from the window. The hotel had several swimming pools and also a Jacuzzi. The internal and external appearance of the hotel was very nice. The hotel was totally value for the money I spent. I would definitely visit this resort again.
This place is around 35 km from Pune city, it is located on a hillside near a lake, a beautiful place to visit. A huge size shallow pool on the hill slope with a view of the lake is the prime attraction. They also have a rain dance and a dance place which you can enjoy with your family and friends. Breakfast is good as well as the lunch and dinner, good preparation and good variety. Rooms are also good and located at a beautiful location, a good place for overnight stay as well as for a day's picnic.
The location was good but everything was downhill from there on. Food was average. Toilets were not very clean. The swimming pools and open Jacuzzi were extremely dirty; there was moss everywhere and insects floating around. The pools were clean and truly enjoyed the waves of water, being in the pool was fun for sure. There are some good areas where kids can enjoy too, that were definitely different from other resorts. As the kids were engaged for long time in those items, we could just relax. Food was good. Give mix ratings to food items - the South Indian dishes were pathetic the cooks seem to know some good North Indian/Maharashtiran dishes.
Water Kingdom was good, Enjoyed the rides. My daughter really enjoyed the rides. The pools were clean and truly enjoyed the waves of water, Food Was good. The staff is co-operative and helpful. We had been there in a group of girls, and it was a ladies gang and we enjoyed a lot Must go once!
Average. The location was good. But everything was downhill from there on. Food was average. Toilets not very clean. The swimming pools and open jacuzzi were extremely dirty - there was moss every where and insects floating around. We also found sharp, large stones and metal rods in the big swimming pool. I sliced my toe on the swimming pool floor (couldnt see the object since the water was murky). The resort did not have a first-aid and apart from tying a piece of cloth around the profusely bleeding foot, we werent able to do anything. The resort guys were able to provide only a small swab of cotton and an old bottle of dettol after much searching! Since its located reasonably away from the city, finding a medical store was a challenge.
