Sri Kapileswaraswami Temple is the sole Lord Shiva shrine in Tirumala, which is located approximately 3 km north of Tirupati. The famous festivals celebrated in the temple are Brahmotsavam, Annabhishekam, Maha Shivarathri and Vinayaka Chaturthi. Kapila Theertham and Alwar Theertham are also located in the same temple complex.
The temple complex also houses shrines of Sri Venugopalaswamy, Sri Vinayakaswamy and Sri Lakshminarayanaswamy.
