Sri Lalita Devi Temple is a famous and prominent temple located at Naimisaranya area, which is a popular tourist sightseeing place in Sitapur. It is said that the Goddess Lalita also called the Red Goddess or Tripura Sundari had appeared here as ordered by Lord Brahma. Other temples near the main gate of this temple are those dedicated to Lord Shiva and Lord Hanuman. There is a Peepal tree which is considered to be very old and a Pandav Koop (well) said to have been made by Arjun Pandav with his arrow. Other nearby attractions is Panch Prayag (a lovely pond) and Chakra Teertham.

Lalita Devi temple is one of the Shakti peeth situated in Meerapur Area of Allahabad approx 12 KM far from Allahabad Junction. It believe that Maa sati finger was down here. The temple is big and very beautiful murti of Maa Lalita is here. The surrounding area is not very good but you feel peace in this temple, do not forget to carry prasad before visiting this temple.
