Sri Venkateswara Temple is one of the ancient and holy temples, which is located at the 7th peak of the Venkata Tirumala Hill. This temple is situated to the south of Sri Swami Pushkarini River and has been built in the traditional Dravidian architectural style. It measures 80 min width and 123 m in length.

Within its total area of around 2.2 acres, the temple houses an idol of Lord Venkateswara, which is about 8 ft in height. The idol stands under the gold gilded dome, which is known as Ananda Nilaya Divya Vimana. The eyes of this idol are covered with a tilak of camphor and are ornamented with some of the precious and semi-precious stones.

Lucky to have done with darshan of Lord Venkateswara in about an hour Ticket is Rs 300 and can be booked online in advance.
Buses and cabs carry pilgrims to the hill on a picturesque ghat road of about 23 Km.

"The Bliss"

  • 7.0/7

Visiting this temple will remain as a bookmark in my life. I was overwhelmed with the Lord Venkateshwara's Darshan. Being a north indian I had some hesitation before reaching there, but once after reaching I felt all things like my neighborhood. The huge permises of temple welcomes millions of pilgrimages throughout the year. The laddoo Prasad is really awesome can only be taken from here. The evening classical bhajans and lights make goose bumps of everyone. Totally recommendable to person curious to know or come here. Normal queue for the temple in off season will take 4 to 5 hrs however the special darshan takes 2 to 3 hrs in off days.

"Quick Darshan"

  • 7.0/7

It was a pleasant surprise for us to complete the darshan within an hour. I had visited the temple several times but this one is fastest. However the heavy pushing nearer to the God is as usual. We feel blessed. People have to follow certain traditional clothing code, such as Male to wear Lungi/ Dhoti/ Pyjama Chudidhar and ladies to wear Sarees/ Kurta pyjama with chunni.

"Govindayo !!!"

I booked INR 300 ticket through TTD website. I went twice in this year. One was on a Saturday in July which took around 1. 5 hrs for darshan and other in on a Wednesday in October which took 2. 15 hours. It was well maintained until you are entering into stares for crossing the bridge to the temple. Sitting arrangement is given before that only. From the entrance both paid and unpaid lines are same. And a huge chaos. Lack of proper management for managing the queue, Security personnel talks in only telugu!! Darshan is a thing which can cherish for life. Then prasadam and laddu from laddu counter. I saw many people with Jeans Pants!!!

"Awesome experience"

Very well maintained and administered shrine. For senior citizens there is special arrangements for Darshan. There are two time slots one at 3 PM and other at 9PM. You have to report 2 hours before the scheduled time, but they entertain late entries if there is not much rush. There is reasonable seating arrangements and get food and hot milk during waiting period. Darshan are hassle free and within 1/2 hour after opening of gate. No attendant is allowed except spouse and grandchildren up to age of 12 yrs. But volunteer and scout/guides are marvelous, really dedicated and helpful particularly for disabled people.
Others can book online for special Darshan on payment of RS. 300/=. There is long Q for free Darshan.

"Tirumala Lord Balaji or Srinivasa Sannidhi."

  • 7.0/7
  • Posted Jul 26, 2016
Lord Balaji Temple, Tirumala Lord Balaji or Srinivasa Sannidhi. It's most auspicious Hindu Temple located on Tirumala hills. The temple having very good infrastructure io hold big crowds too. The Temple management "Tirumala Tirupati Devastanam" is holding many cottages for stay, and queue complexes to regulate crowds, for stay, TTD serving free meals all the time through it's very hygienic kitchen and it's dining halls.
At the time of Brahmotsavam the crowd is too heavy.
Plan properly to manage stay and darshan by online. Both Pay and free darshan.
It's highly connected with Road, Railway's and an International Airport.
Blessings of Lord Balaji be with you.

The main think is a temple situated in the large open area on hill and beautiful location. The swami venkteswara temple is a Hindu religious important temple.
