Hotel Review of Amblee Holiday Resort
Comments: Srirangapatnam is a small town in between Bangalore and Mysore. The location of the resort is good as it is located beside the main road. Overall ambience of the resort is beautiful with Cauvery flowing adjascent to the resort. There is a swimming pool but its not ideally located as the rooms face towards it. Some of the staff are quite friendly while others are OK. The front office is not co-operative and is adamant as usually the resort remains full ( to be noted no. of rooms are not more )

Worst Experience: 1. The room was not cleaned before allotment.. to the extent that the bedsheets were "used and torn", though it was a deluxe suite. There is no bed(cot) there & they have constructed a bed like structure in concrete, one will feel as if he is sleeping on the floor.
2. When I informed the manager about the condition of the room, instead of arranging for cleaning or making an apology he was rude and adamant and started quarreling saying "why did u take the room? nobody is saying anything". Point to be noted that they never showed the room to me beforehand. Unfortunately as I had paid before i took the room i had to stay in the dirty and untidy room otherwise I would have left the resort immediately.
3. The room service was equally bad. it took half an hour to bring a towel as it was not there in the room beforehand.

It was a romantic getaway on the banks of the river Cauvery. Roughly 120 Kms drive on the Bangalore mysore reaod the location of the resort is very convenient for people driving from Bangalore. The rooms balcony opens to the river bank and the door opens to the swimming pool. In-door activites like carrom, pool, table tennis will kept us occupied for hours after sundown. Hotel Review of Amblee Holiday Resort
We, three families went together from Bangalore to Amblee resort by road. Reached the place by around 11.30 a.m. Morning hour travel was great without any traffic. This resort is actually in Srirangapatna right on the banks of Cauvery river. The reception peole in the resort were friendly. While the men were checking in, the kids were busy playing with the rabbits,geese, and parrots near the reception. The rooms as requested by us was on the ground floor with the backyard...

The resort is good, food was really very good, but the rooms were not that good. Its nice place to go if you are planning to relax. Bank of kaveri is a nice place to have candle light dinner and relax on the Hammock....

The overall experience was good. The resort could be easily located. The mini zoo, the ducks, the parakeets, the rabbits and the huge turkey gave us a very good welcome. The facilities like the swimming pool and the room service was good. The resort crew were also quite friendly and helpful. The food was the normal food. Overall, it was a nice stay in the resort. It was quite refreshing as expected....

Service was excellent. Easy to book as well and they accept credit cards. The drive from Bangalore is the worst part with the road under construction. Should be a lot better in 6-8 months time....
