Stay at dolphin is satisfying spl with ref to the sea view from the hotel and has a relaxed atmosphere.Being a govt run hotel the service is poor and you have fixed menus.The food std need to be improved and you should not be asked to place your order at least ameal before.Despite the short comings I would like to stay there again for its loc and surroundings.

Best Experience: The view of the beach and loc of Dolphin is definitely is the plus point of the hotel.

Worst Experience: I was alloted a room which was not ready.The furnitures are about to break spl the bed.The linen is par below std.It does not have a bar?

It is the best place to stay if you wish to see the sea from the room. It is perhaps the best value for Money Resort

Worst Experience: 1) Sub Standard Food Quality 2) No Bar 3)The Resort has been built by encroaching upon the Beach to give us the sea view, which has pained me. It is a waste to spoil such a beach just to give Tourist a good view.

The resort has the advantage of being right on the virgin beach. However, the quality of rooms, the furnishings, the linen is not very good. Given the quality, offers a wonderful spot for vaccation / Honeymoon. The only means t reach the island is by the govt run ferries which run only twice in a day and the tickkets are difficult to procure unless agents are resorted to.

Best Experience: The position, the clear blue water, the absolute clean sandy beach

Overall a perfect holiday with your partner. Worth your money. The place is simply exotic, serene and peaceful. The beaches are the best in India and even in Asia. Crystal clear water, you are walking alone hand in hand with your partner and having fun in the sea and sand. The sea view is fantastic. The resort is designed beautifully with 3 types of cottages - Semi-Deluxe (500 INR), Deluxe (1500 INR) and VIP (2000). The facilities are good and place is neat and clean. Staff behavior is appreciable and they take care of your regular requirements. Boasts a good restaurant which serves you breakfast, lunch, tea and dinner apart occasional snacks on demand. People are honest, friendly and very helpful. About the place, resort is located beautifully. You can have sunrise of your life here. Walk naked feet on the beach alongside resort is a magnificent experience by itself. A visit to nearby Radha Nagar beach is worth. Radha Nagar beach is among Asia\'s best with it\'s shining and silver white clear sand and a lovely sunset on display. Lot of sea side activities including scuba diving and snorkeling for those who do not know swimming. You do not need to go deep, just swim or laze around to see beautifully sea vegetation/corals and colorful fishes. One of the rarest place on the earth I would love to go again in spite of the distance from main land.

Best Experience: 1. Beautiful Location surrounded by sea and natural beach in front of the resort. 2. Nicely built cottages with modern required amenities. 3. Refreshing experience from a Government accommodation for a change. 4. Courteous staff who is polite and helpful to your needs. 5. Sight seeing trips to nearby places like Radha Nagar Beach, Elephanta Beach and market can be arranged immediately on a simple request. 6. The best scenes were watching high and low tide. 7. early morning 4:30 am sunrise in December was a beautiful experience as well. 8. Chasing small crabs on the beach just in front of resort was a pleasurable experience. 9. Sitting on the edge in moon light with agitated sea water was a heavenly experience. 10. Walking on sand with you partner alongside was a romantic flavor in total solitude.

Worst Experience: 1. The jetty booking confirmation from Port Blair to Havelock Island was not a pleasant experience. Go to chase hard for the same. 2. Resort should bring forward their own snorkeling and scuba diving programs. 3. Room reservation should be made easy. Internet reservation could be a pleasant experience.
