Staying at Hotel Pinewood was an experience in itself. its unique location , the picturesque view from each room, the lush green campus, the pine woods and of course - excellent behaviour of all the staffs have made out Shillong trip so memorable. mohana mukherjee from West Bengal

Best Experience: view of the mountains from the window.

We travelled in a group so the overall experience was very nice as we arranged for our own entertainment. The service and hospitality of the staff deserves special mention. Do not look for exciting activities while staying there, lazying on the balcony and looking at hazy mountains are all you can do.

Worst Experience: The rooms, specially the bathrooms can prove to be a let-down. However, we were told that the old building will be pulled down to make way for a new one soon. Till that time, leaking taps, cracked mirrors and twisted light fixtures may dampen enjoyment.

a good experience, about midway from Simla to Kalka, good view, good service, good family stay option while u explore chail, kasauli, simla etc

gr8 fun we have done there...we enjoyed early mornings, cloudy evenings and do trekking sort of thing.and lots of fun
