the room, service, food was good at the resort. the resort is secluded from the main town which is good. no proper access to the beach......anyone planning to stay must first inquire regarding access to the beach and then plan their holiday. the resort is calm and peaceful.
I had been to Puri in the month of December 2016 and stayed in the Sterling Holidays Golden Sands. It was my business trip with alone. The place where I had been to was good. The hotel location was good with necessary availables at the nearest. I would rate the appearance of the hotel as good as it is very clean. Hotel front office was good since they are always available with correct information. I booked my room through online. I would rate the services in the hotel were good because of availability of service. The hotel room was average. The hotel food was very good because price is very comfortable with more varieties.
We landed at Bhubhaneswar airport & were welcomed by a taxi arranged by the resort. We were amazed that the enlightened cab driver gave us a full briefing on the history & culture of Odisha (as Orissa is now known) during the 1 1/2 drive to Puri. We crossed Puri town & drove along a deserted stretch of sea coast for what seemed an eternity. Just when we gave up hope of seeing any civilisation, abruptly the road ended & we saw the welcome board for Sterling Resorts. Our first reaction - wow, what a location! Far from the madding crowd, on a sprawling (40 acres I think) plot, is the resort. Whats more, it has practically its own private beach. The view of the sea from the lobby is spectacular, and the sea breeze lashes throughout the day. We felt we were in Mauritius or Langkawi. Our 3 day stay was peaceful & relaxing. We didnt feel like leaving the resort, venturing out only to have darshan at the famed Jagannath Temple. We also went to Konark, another architectural marvel, which is a half day trip.
It is a good destination place that very much impress the tourist for stay here, that I enjoy this hotel with my family that very good and comfort hotel, very good big and clean room with well-ventilated room with good design and comfort bed that it gives me happiness. It is so nice. Food of the hotel is nice and very tasty. Best place to spent time in happy that's every good service available here.
I had been to this hotel in the month of August 2016. The location and destination of the hotel was excellent. The appearance of the hotel was good in look both internally and externally. The check in and check out was done on time. The service of the staff in the hotel was friendly and helpful. The room was good with required amenity in working condition. WI-FI was not provided in the hotel. I ate food in the hotel and it was good in taste and quality. There were no activities organized in the hotel. I had been to this hotel with family for relaxation. The parking facility was very good and it was comfortable for me. I will recommend this hotel for upcoming travellers.
