The Subarnarekha River drains into the Bay of Bengal some 12 km from Digha, near the Bengal-Orissa border. A long beach along the Udaypur village leads to the meeting point of Subarnarekha River and the sea. Tourists can take a walk along this beach or rent a car along the highway to reach the confluence of the river with the sea.
