It was my first visit to Mysore few months ago along with my mother. The overall experience I would say that it was just more than good with complete courteousness and down to earth friendly staff. We were taken good care right from the moment we entered into the hotel and till we checked out and the experience is definitely unforgettable. We were even given a complimentary drop back to the railway station. The room was always kept clean and turned out to be a pleasant place to relax after returning back from a tiresome journey. The hotel is very close by(say 1.5 kms) to the railway station and is situated at a very clean environment with all other good restaurants and other general shops we more often visit in our daily life. Moreover, I never felt any need to get food from outside as the Hotel itself has a restaurant inside that really serves tasty food(includes breakfast, lunch and dinner) and is hygienic as well. Never had a chance to use the other facilities in the Hotel like pool, internet, gym etc as I was completely occupied with my schedule through the day. I stayed in there for 2 days and so and was extremely satisfied. They even provide travel packages that are day, 1 day, 2 days etc for surrounding places like Ooty, Kodaikanal etc and the price package is also very nominal. No doubt the place to get into whenever I happen to visit Mysore. I definitely would suggest to whomever I knew and have plans to visit Mysore for sure. Thanks to the team over there for leaving a pleasant memory with us.
This hotel is situated about 20 minutes from the Palace. The booking was done through MakeMyTrip. I stayed here for 4 days. The food was taken from outside. The rooms were neat and clean with AC and LCD TV provided; clean toilets. Mysore is a good destination and I liked it. The service was good; friendly staff with quick response. The hotel provided Wifi, internet and printer facility in the reception area. I made a trip to this place with my family on a relaxing tour in September 2013. It is recommendable to other future travellers.
I visited this hotel in the month of September 2016. I went to the hotel with family and it was holiday purpose. I booked the hotel directly. I would rate the destination as very good since I like Talakaveri. My hotel location is good since it was inside city. I would rate the appearance average, as there must be improvement. No proper hot water facility in the hotel. The front office was good as the booking process was done on time, as the staff were cooperative. I would rate the service good as they were attentive and they gave on time service. I would rate the room average, I did not like bed sheet and toilet should be hygienic. The food was terrible as there is no food in the hotel. Room service food service should be improved. Overall stay was average.
Good rooms with all good facilities. The cleanness of rooms is very applicable. The reception staff as well as other staff members are very nice. The quality of food is also good. Room service is remarkable. Hotel as well as Mysore palace is very good. Brindavan garden is very nice. We full enjoyed our holiday
The hotel is excellent. The front desk is very good. The rooms are very well-maintained. Best is to book online as it is cheaper. Take a room towards the road. It is very near to the Railway station and the main market. Evening times one can walk to the market.
