Been here in August 2014. We visited Mysore and stayed in Sujatha Residency during one of the recent long weekends. We had driven down from Bangalore in our own car. First of all, the location of the hotel is very good. It's in a serene location with not much traffic around and it's around 3-4 kms from the main city centre. We loved the location. We stayed in non AC double bed room which was very clean, bathroom was cleaner. There was TV as well as a small refrigerator in the room. Room service is a bit slow, that's an area of improvement for them but the restaurant service was too good. They have an in-house restaurant called 1961 and we just loved the taste of the food there. All the dishes were unbelievably tasty and that's the reason 90% of the times we had dinner or lunch in that hotel during our stay. Overall, we had a pleasant stay experience, the tourist places were not that far from the hotel, it was easy to drive around in the city and visit the places. We would definitely go back to this hotel the next time, if not for stay, then certainly for the food.
Visited Mysore for holiday. The room ambience was maintained clean. The bed is very much comfortable to sleep. The garments on the bed and pillows were neatly washed. We have used room service only for tea/ coffee in the morning. They were promptly served. Restaurant is too good for dinner. The hot chicken soup was our favourite, everyday we started our dinner with that. All non veg items were cooked deliciously. The cooking & serving is excellent. Drinks also served in the tables, some families may not prefer to have their dinner where drinks are served. Location of hotel is ideal for the tourists. All places of interest are surrounded by the hotel. Would love to stay again.
I stayed in the hotel around one and half year in the hotel with a group of colleagues. The hotel is located in a convenient location and around 3 km from the city, near to the bus stand and railway station. Overall, experience in the hotel was good. Taste of food was good, both veg and non-veg food was available, improve the spices in the food. Staff service in the hotel was good, helpful and quick in service. A manager in the hotel was good. Surroundings of the hotel was good. I was happy with the room allotted. There was no delay while check-in and check-out. Appearance, interiors and exteriors of the hotel were good which was traditional. The rooms are spacious and maintained with clean pillows, bedspreads with amenities like TV and the geyser in working condition. Mineral water was not available during our stay and hence I purchased it from outside. The rooms did not have a view. The rooms are cleaned daily with hot water and cold water facilities. There were no activities and sightseeing trip in the hotel. The garden was maintained in the hotel. It is value for the money paid and recommendable to other travellers.

I had food in the hotel and I am happy with the room. There was no delay in check-in and check-out process. There were no activities but sightseeing facility was organized by the hotel.
