Sukhna Lake is an artificial lake near the base of the Shivalik Range. This 3 km long lake was created in 1958 by blocking rain water through the Sukhna Choe. One can enjoy various activities here, like boating, yachting and skiing. The Asiatic Level Rowing Championships were also organised here, as it has one of the finest channels for rowing and yachting. The site is home to thousands of migratory birds that flock the region during winters.
