Resort Location: Resort is around 4-5 KM inside from Delhi-Ajmer by pass highway. If you are coming from Delhi, travel 10 KM after Manoharpura toll and then take fly over which is on the left on the highway. This is Delhi Ajmer by pass itself. After 7 KM on this road, take left turn and thereafter there are signboards of Sunrise Resort which will take you to the resort. This is a nice resort away from Jaipur main city and hence not much crowd/noise. You will feel relaxed there. We were 3 families with 5 kids so we were looking for resort with good open space/park so that kids can play and enjoy in the greenery apart from swimming pool. In case someone is going for relaxing or interested in area which is quiet then this might be a very good choice since it's not in the main city. Though at same time it means you have to travel few KM in order to reach city and visit your POIs (point of interests) like forts etc About Resort and activities available: Resort is quite good and there is lot of space (in form of park/grass) for kids to play and enjoy. There are two swimming pools (one for adults with depth of around 5 feet and the other one for kids). The one for kids is quite small and I think it needs maintenance also as some tiles on its floor are absent and kid can fall into that hole. The one for Adults is good one and you can enjoy same. Since the resort also has one water ride (only one) and pool associated with it is not quite deep (with depth gradually varying from 3 feet to 4. 5 feet), so we used this particular pool for ourselves as well as for kids. The ride is good one but is with very less water going through it - and this sometimes result in scar/burn on your back while you slide down through it. Still we enjoyed this ride. Note that this ride is suitable for kids of age 8-9 years or more. One more thing, I would like to add: there is need of improvement in pool water (Due to no nearby place to take prior Bath or wash feet, people carry grass & dust into the pool). You will also fine dead ants in the pool. There is also rain dance option (there are timings for it though like in morning for 2 hours and then in evening for 2-3 hours). I must say that this Rain dance area is quite good. I have seen rain dance area in other resorts also and this one is better than earlier ones. Area is circular in shape and covered from sides. Water pressure here varies from place to place and hence you can dance and enjoy wherever you want. Costumes and Swimming Tubes are available on rent (with tubes rent being Rs 50 per day). You can also enjoy Camel Cart Ride and Horse ride here. Some activities like Burma Bridge, Tyres climbing, etc. Also there. Sunrise Dream World: There is also a entertainment zone called Sunrise Dream World within resort itself. To be precise, this Dream World is separate but connected from resort and hence you might not consider it separate. But I must say this area needs maintenance. Most of the kids rides are not working. So kids will insist on same ride again and again. There are some activities which you can enjoy here are Magic Show, Puppet Show, Rajasthani Dance, some statues like of Dragon etc, Haunted House, There is also trampoline in this area but that is useless as same is worn out Parking: The Resort has no covered parking but there is descent space to park cars (around 15 cars). Parking is inside resort and close to main entrance of hotel. Since it was Summer and parking is open, so car gets quite hot and you have to turn on AC for 5 odd minutes before entering your car. The staff was really helpful. Jaljeera was provided as welcome drink. Though we enjoyed it but kids not and didn't go for that. We booked 3 deluxe green cottages and all rooms were ready when we reached there at 11:30 AM. Since these rooms were slightly away from pool area and park so we requested for change of rooms and manager didn't mind that and get it done within 15 minutes. Check-in as well as Check-out process was smooth and didn't took much time Rooms: First of all, I must say that rooms are not what you expected to be hotel rooms. On entering rooms, we all said - ohh no. Though the rooms were neat and clean but you won't get the feeling of hotel rooms. Interiors is quite ordinary and the bed sheet etc that were there - were like you have in your house. LCD was available in room but with limited number of channels (seems normal Tata Sky pack was subscribed). The bathroom was okay enough being clean but accessories like shampoo, moisturiser, shower cap, paste, comb, Not there. Only soap was provided. There was separate shower cubicle, no Bath tub though. Lighting is quite less as we observed low lighting in all three bathrooms. Food & Service:Food was ordinary and I think this is one of the main area where lot of improvement is required. Almost same menu for 2 days that we stayed. Infact desert (Gulabjamun and Icecream) was exactly same all the time (I. E. Lunch & dinner both days). Taste was okay but you will get bore with the food after one meal itself Overall:Overall, the resort is a good option (especially for relaxing and leisure trip). Kids will enjoy swimming and park there. Would strongly suggest resort owner to work towards food improvement and also do required maintenance work in the resort.
The overall experience of the hotel was average. I visited there with my family for relaxation. The staff was friendly and helpful. The service was not satisfactory. The housekeeping service was not good. The location of the hotel was not convenient. It was located more than twenty kilometres from the railway station. Check-in and check-out was done on time. The appearance of the hotel was average. The room was spacious but not maintained. I stayed there only for one night. They provided complimentary toiletries. The basic amenities were functioning properly. There was no view form the room. Food service was not attentive. They provide horse riding, camel riding and swimming pool in the hotel. Sightseeing was not provided by the hotel. It was not valued for the money. It was not recommendable hotel. They should check their room before allotting to customer and should improve the food service.
My personal advise to all of you please avoid this resort at all costs. Guys please don't get cheated by the positive reviews written by hotel staff themselves. This resort is not worth a single penny, avoid this at all costs. I stayed there for 2 days and these 2 days were by far the worst experience of my life. The rooms were unhygienic, untidy, unclean and stinky. The pool's water was so dirty that my children caught typhoid right after the stay. The Gardens are large but not maintained at all. Towels, bed sheets were dirty and service was the worst, they won't listen to any of your damn request. This property needs immediate revamping. If you are travelling with family then Safety is a major issue. Situated at a lone area, it is surrounded by cheap villages and above all it is not covered by a boundary wall from rear side, so you can expect waking up to a stranger in your room at midnight. Apart from all this, the buffet food was like hell, I can't believe they treated their guests as cattle and hurled them all at the same time to have food. Most of the times the dishes were out. Non-veg is not worth a penny. I was so dissatisfied by the behavior of the management that I checked out at the 2nd day while I had booked the room for 2 nights and 3 days. My personal advice to all of you please avoid this resort at all costs.
Location and appearance were very good. It was conveniently located. Booking and front office staff was excellent. Services were fast and they were well behaved. Rooms were neat and spacious. TV, AC, geyser, everything were available and working properly. Pillow cover and bed sheet was neat and clean. Food and drink was delicious. Activities were good in this hotel. Check-in and check-out facility was on time. Hotel is recommendable for other travelers. It was value for money paid.
I have visited Sunrise Health Resort very frequently to enjoy the peace and vicinity of the place, I really adore this place to stay and spent few days for leisure. It has nice discotheque with swimming pool and other outdoor and indoor games and so many other activities. I recommend this place as one of the most favorite halts. Rooms on the south side are quieter and corner suites are large and sunny. You must choose Arravali suite, the perfect one with beautiful interior. It was healthy, hygienic and comfortable stay.
