It's a nice hotel. Good service and also good food. One thing I liked in this hotel is it is all clean. It is a good example for good hotel. The counter is too small. We went there because of food. It does not matter. Overall, a good hotel.
I have stayed at Swarga Hotel a few times now over the course of this year and every time it has been a wonderful experience. The staff is cordial. The food is tasty, and the rooms are welcoming and neat. You can also arrange for a car to take you to the city, and exchange currency at the reception. Very convenient.
Such a pleasant place to stay. Calm and peaceful. Located far outside the city. The rooms, food, reception and staff were all fine. The owner such a great person. He takes time to show us the places near his resort and guides us with possible routes and places to visit nearby. Would definitely recommend this place.
The place is absolutely rustic and rooms are very basic and neat. There is no TV or phone and often there were power failures without generator backup. But what you get here is a total living with nature. We went during the monsoons and enjoyed being muddy and walking around in the rain and fishing in a heavy downpour. There were friendly dogs around who will greet you as you arrive and will then follow you wherever you go. Walk down to the river or the open countryside and soak in the greenery. The cottages are situated within a lot of greenery and a morning can be spent breathing in the fresh forest air. The dining is open and cook may bring you what you pre-order on request but otherwise there is a good countryside buffet. Recommended to go in a group.
I did not face any problem to reach the hotel. Staff was friendly there. Look of the hotel from inside and outside was moderate. Room was clean and well-maintained. All amenities like AC, TV, geyser, etc were available in the room. I went there for official work. I took food there. I liked it. There was no delay at the time of check-in and check-out. It was on time. They did not provide any activity there. I did not have time for sightseeing and all. Price wise, it was affordable. I can recommend this hotel to other travelers. My overall experience in that hotel was very good.
This was one of the best experience I ever had & I would like to go back whenever I get a long break. The staff were cordial & the service was excellent & cottages were very well maintained. The food was excellent & overall value for money.
This is about on the banks of hemavathi backwaters. This is where the mungarumale most of shooting was taken. One can fish in the waters. Enjoy the birds sight in the mornings. Play the Foos ball/ carrom / chess like indoor games. Food is very good. Both veg and non veg is served. Mr. Chirag is very cooperative and nice and hospitality is good.
We frequent this place a lot, particularly because they are pet friendly. On our current visit, we were pleasantly surprised by the changes to the place. A new sports bar has been added and looks like it will get better in the months to come. The place has several animals and that list has grown now. The place now has ducks, geese, a deer, a horse and 7 dogs - most of them rescued animals. We are animal lovers and this was really heart warming. The host, as always, was very warm and enterprising and a great conversationalist. He has tons of trivia on a wide variety of topics and can keep us engaged for hours. In true Swarga-style, the place still lacks a TV, forcing one to let go of the bustle of the city and connect with nature. I believe the larger river-side cottages are due to get solar fans soon. The food remains delicious as ever and a rare opportunity to enjoy the local cuisine at it's best. They have also introduced fishing in a pond nearby. Though we did not fish, we did take our dogs swimming. The next time we are there, we might go for a half a day picnic by the pond, taking a dip or fishing. What I really appreciate about the place is that the owner is very involved and is constantly improving the place while sticking to his core principles of being environmentally friendly and close to nature.
peaceful, beautiful, human touch and lovely hospitality from everybody - kichen, house keeping etc ..., thanks chirag (owner) for everything and for such a lovely experience - coffee estate, fishing, bathing in the river, lovely mouth watering food (breakfast, lunch and dinner), the last moment campfire setup, lovely cute dogs and the horse to company my 6 year old son.
