The place is a heritage building wonderfully maintaining the British structure. Well maintained garden walkway, except the billiards room area, where it was very remote & less lights to access that block. Enjoyed the morning cycling. Food is normal.

Excellent location. A heritage property and well-maintained by Taj. The resort is located just few kilometers from the railway station. We travelled from Ooty to Coonoor by the toy Train and it was a fantastic culmination of our short journey when we reached this hotel. Courteous staff and good food.

I feel the hotel is underrated. It deserves more stars. The place is cozy and sends out positive vibes. It has a homely feel. The antique touch is just awesome. The place blends the modern facilities with the ancient architecture. Probably the best place to stay in Coonoor.

Peaceful place, very professional and courteous staff. Loved the stay and food especially the magic show and yoga session. Great surroundings like Dolphins Nose and nearby areas. Would want to visit again. The only setback is that the area is crowded nearby.

There is no better place to stay in Coonoor other than the Taj Gateway hotel at Church Road. The food is excellent and the rooms are comfortable and have a homely feeling to it. The interiors of the buildings are set as the old British era. The bonfire in the front lawns at evenings and the beautiful gardens enhance the hotel.

Many facilities are provided to children like cycling, badminton, and table tennis.

We stayed at the hotel during Diwali. The hotel provided all the residential guests fireworks to celebrate. That night the hotel was lit with tiny candles all over the estate, giving all the guests a festive feel. I would like to suggest the hotel to include vegan and sugar-free food options in their menu card.

Front office looks nice as well as the people. Rooms are spacious and clean. Garden is very beautiful and neatly maintained. Has fire place in each room so that you enjoy the fire when the outside temperature is below 15-20 degree. They also arranged a fire set up on the lawn for the guests. Also they have room heater in each room. Breakfast is really good. This hotel building was built 150 years ago, so old property but neatly maintained. Kids will enjoy the garden.

It was a very good hotel. The approach road to the hotel was not proper. The appearance of the hotel was very nice. The room given to me was very clean. The food served at the hotel was excellent. The hotel had provided many activities and I had enjoyed that very much. I had stayed there with my friends. The reception staffs welcomed us very nicely. The hotel had served many varieties in food. Wi-Fi connection was provided in the hotel.
