About Talasari

voted as clean

Talsari is located close to both the Subarnarekha River and the sea. It is some 6 km from Digha, near the Orissa-Bengal border and is a small delta. The beach at Talsari is a lesser known one and the waters are calm and peaceful.

Talsari is most visited place in Digha. I visit this place whenever I go to Digha. The place is not so far, you should contact with your hotel reception to go there. You will definitely love it.

"The place where you get calm water without waves"

  • 6.50/7
  • Posted Apr 12, 2014
Talasari is the place where there is a channel that brings sea water much inside the land. The water in the channel is crystal clear and very clam without waves. One can cross this small channel to reach up to the sea on the other side. The land all around is the place of red crabs. Talsari is located a few kilometres away from Digha on way to Orissa.

I liked it the most, it was all red, but as we moved closer, all the red crabs vanished in the sand. We also drank green coconut tea etc.
