The hotel is average though the rooms are quite big, but general cleanliness was poor. Rooms were infested with mosquitoes. Dining room are and lobby was dirty. It requires improvement in housekeeping. We visited to see the temples. Food quality was also average.

I visited Kanchipuram for religious purpose, i.e. darshan of Mata Kamakshi and Ekambareshwar Mahadev Temple etc. had a good experience. I booked two non-A/C rooms through email but found a great dissatisfaction at that place. Rooms were good with free breakfast but notice that breakfast is not available till 7:30 am, if you have to leave in early morning as I have to, you don't get breakfast. Mattress was good, thick and soft. Bed was comfortable as well as spacious. Other amenities were: LED large TV set mostly all famous channels was available with good and clear quality. Nearby no good restaurant is available, when I visited so remember to take meal near to bus stand or Railway Station. The most problematic was arrogant and silly behaviour of Staff. Another Important thing is that most people book through agent sites, E-mail or other things but REMEMBER! Book only through hotel's official website.

I have booked this hotel through internet but found a great dissatisfaction at that place. Rooms were good, but the behavior of staff was arrogant. Hotel is near to the Kamakshi Temple and railway station but during early morning and night, no auto or cabs are available outside the hotel. I will advise to book rooms from ttdc website only.

It is in the heart of Kanchipuram from where one can cover all temples nearby. It belongs to govt of Tamil Nadu tourism, so one can expect a reasonable fare. Food is good but only South Indian and few North Indian dishes. There is an attached bar where you can get almost all drinks available and Tamil Nadu. If one expects more sophisticated top class hotels you can book in great regency.

I have stayed with my family for two days. Wonderful venue with sufficient place with good atmosphere with well grown trees and also rooms are too good with less rent & service provider(Manger) to contact for stay at TTDC is also fine. It needs to improve the restaurant facility as it is far away from the main market place. It is opined that, the travelers who visit Kanchipuram as a tourist, commercial and also as a consumer it is most convenient to stay @ TTDC.

The stay we had at Taminadu hotel in Kanchipuram was good and pleasant and is worth the money the hotel charged. what we most liked was the responsiveness of the staff to our needs. The hotel is also in the close proximity of the temples and other restaurants. Enjoyed the hospitality of the hotel people. Will continue to stay there whenever we make a visit to Kanchipuram. Also, I would like to recommend the hotel to my friends and the office colleagues...

Overall experience I would rate it above average, around 4 of 7.
This hotel, unlike Hotel Tamil Nadu at other locations, is not on the main road and center of the city, and is slight off the main road.
The Hotel has plenty of open space and car parking space, and so has good ventilation, and good feel. Rooms are fairly spacious.
I felt it expensive, wrt the city and proximity to the city center.

Best Experience: Some of their staff are not very responsive, but their resident manager is very responsive and made my stay there easy and pleasant.
Hotel Approach/Lobbey and the open space around the building feels good (unlike some cramped hotels in the town).
I only tried breakfast in the morning, and its good.

Worst Experience: Some of their front office staff are not responsive enough.
Beds are smelling bad.
