Good hotel, nice location

5.1/7
Posted 6 Jun, 2017

Very nice boutique hotel. Rooms are very modern, neat, clean and spacious even though the property looks like a heritage building. Its located besides the tea plantations of Munnar which gives a special feeling during the stay. Would have been really great if the balcony was facing the tea plantation side The toilets are also very neat and clean. The beds were very comfortable and had a good sleep The staff were friendly. They will arrange Jeep safari for local sightseeing on request and chargeable basis. But they charge extra from the usual pricing, so we preferred to arrange our own from the local service provider. The hotel provides complimentary tea walk in the morning. But we did not opt it and hence cannot comment on the same. Free WiFi available in the room, but unfortunately the WiFi signal in the room was very week, we hardly could use it The hotel provides only buffet for dinner, we opted to have it from outside. Breakfast was served on rooftop semi open restaurant with tea plantation view on side was nice. Even though there is no wide spread of dishes, the ones served was really nice The staff were courteous and friendly. When we booked room via Goibibo, the room amenities included refrigerator in room. But there wasn't any in the room given to us. When inquired, they said it was only available in rooms at 2nd and 3rd floor Also it will be appreciated if they provide a door mat for bathroom It was the best located hotel in that locality (Chithirapuram) of Munnar. Ideal for peaceful getaways or romantic holidays.

Good experience in Munnar

5.3/7

Hotel was good, view for sunrise was awesome from room. But hotel is far away from city around 10 km, without own vehicle very difficult to reach there and parking space is very less for cars. Way to reach to hotel go through tea garden that was very narrow.
