It’s a good hotel and we visit there every year. We did face difficulty in locating the hotel when visited for the first time but once we had reached we really felt comfortable. The staffs were good and friendly. The one thing I like was its very calm and quite atmosphere out there very pleasing. There was check in problem once when I had visited with my family as the room was not vacated. Otherwise everything was fine. The hotel had traditional look. The room was well maintained with all amenities and even hot and cold water all time. The food was homely and good in quality and they serve both veg and non-veg. We had veg food and it was reasonable in price. There were neither activities nor any sightseeing. They had arranged for cab for sightseeing. I was happy with the stay and would recommend this hotel to others. My suggestion would be to provide some sort equipments so as the guest need not carry their own apart from that everything was fine. It was relaxation trip with family.
Capitol Village is resort kind of hotel located in the outskirts of Madikeri. This hotel is built in middle of a coffee estate is greenery all around. The food is simply very good. We were so in love with the surroundings that we spent one full day in the room enjoying the scenery and the Rain. Must visit place at least once in a lifetime.

I must say that the room service was very good, efficient and cheap. The staffs were very polite and attentive to all your needs. Conveniently located with good hospitality. Location was very good and it was located far away from the bus stand. Hotel exterior and interior was very good. Room was spacious, neat and comfortable with clean pillows, bedspreads and blankets and they provided geyser facility, but there was no AC, TV and phone facility in the room, so anything required, we have to go to the reception and there was a garden view from the room. They provided veg, non-veg food with more varieties, the quality and taste of the food was very good. No problem while check-in and check-out and there was bonfire and other activities. If required they arrange a vehicle for sightseeing places. The hotel room tariff was value for money and it is recommendable to others. I stayed here for 3 days with family for relaxation.
my over all experiance is really very good, one of the best resort that i hav ever found, its about 1 km away from any road, so no vehilcle sound, and the capitol village is purely situated in a beautifull valley. so view and the climate is very good, i went alone with my wife, we enjoyed a lot. always take room with balcony. its serves you with lot more view, and there is a nice pond inside the village where u can spend your nicely.
This resort, being 5 kms away from the market centre (madikeri), provided a very peaceful and cool setting, away from the hustle and closer to nature. Now being closer to nature meant good experiences such as fresh air, a view of paddy fields and chirping birds to greet you in the morning, as well as some not so pleasant ones like being surrounded by insects in the night light and not having a lot of options when it comes to food on weekdays.
I had a good experience in this hotel. I liked the activities there like Wi-Fi, games, etc. Hotel was located at 4 km distance from the town. Surroundings of the hotel were good. Service staff was friendly with us there. Manager of the hotel was nice. They fulfilled all our requests. Room was good. It was non-AC. Check-in and check-out was easily done. Interior and exterior of the hotel was good. Lake was available nearby the hotel. Room was neat and clean. View of garden was visible from the room. Regular cleaning was done from the room. Food was provided by them on order. Buffet system was there. Quality of food was nice. Games were available there. Destination is good. Money spend there was worth. I would like to recommend it to other people. It was a relaxation trip with friends in March 2014.
