I had visited this hotel with my family. The service was on time in the hotel. The hotel was located outside the city. The transportation facility was provided at the hotel. The ambience of the hotel was nice. The check in and checkout was on time in the hotel. AC was provided in the room. All the amenities were provided in the room. The Wi-Fi was provided in the room. The welcome drink was provided in the hotel. The variety in food was available in the hotel. All the activity was arranged by the hotel. I would recommend this hotel to upcoming travellers. The best part of the hotel was location. I was satisfied to stay in this hotel.
Just loved the ambiance & the way they treat us, enjoyed a lot. Food was far far better from other hotels of the town nearer. Excellent for all of them to travel to & find a relaxation place for vacation. Fine rooms were clean & support staff were excellent that the way they treated us.
This was a good experience because its location was really nice. Because this was located at the centre of the Kerala. Being at the centre of water is really good adventurous and I loved it. Butt the rooms and the services was not good. They served really bad food at the same time the rooms were also not good.
I stayed at this property on 10th Jan'14 during my honeymoon. This property was situated on actual Island. I was thinking that 'Island resort' was just name as it was situated near water. We were flabbergasted when we saw hotel property in middle of water. There are small boats which take you to resort. Resort has 18 rooms. During our stay, resort was deserted and had only 1 more room occupied. It has limited staff. Rooms are actually floating and has gallery having view of water body. A-la-carte food was available. Buffet was prepared only if occupancy was more that 10 rooms. Breakfast was typical south Indian having dosa, Idli. Egg omelet was available on request. As property was situated in water, I am sure it was difficult to manage infrastructure. Walls of rooms were thin P.O.P. or Cement sheets. Defective flooring was covered using foot mat. Though rooms are small, they are nicely decorated. We had short stint at this property but we liked it as we never stayed on Island property. I am not sure if India has Island properties. They have Ayurveda center and 1 head message was offered complimentary. Long stay at this resort can be boring as you do not have many thing to do. Also note, this was situated deep inside village and difficult to search from main road. Thankfully our driver was aware of this place and we reached there effortlessly.
It’s a very beautiful villa type of house almost 200 years old and surrounded my beauty of nature. Good hotel with excellent Kerala style food. You can simply sit beside the back waters and spend your time reading. Go out for boating, fishing and an evening walk around the village is a must activity here.
Very well built resort. Good service, water s sticky, other than that everything s perfect.
the sunset on the hammocs in the garden or a stroll along the backwaters to the mangamma temple waving and interacting with the most friendly locals, the location is a little heaven.Authentic home made food with farm fresh ingredients.clean and comfortable room in historic surroundings
