Among the oldest marvelous architectural structures of Yercaud is The Grange. This castle was built by the Collector M. D. Cockburn in 1820. Robert Clive of the British East India Company made this place for his summer retreat in late1800's. This is considered as the 1st commercial plantation area in Yercaud for oranges and coffee and apples. Between the orange and coffee plantations is a beautiful resort, which will be an exotic place for the visitors to stay in.
