A great play to stay

Posted 25 Dec, 2017

We reviewed this hotel from multiple web booking sites and decided to go for it considering the good review. Well The hotel is indeed beautiful no doubt and so is the room. Staff was great too. But a couple of things in which they could have improved. In spite of having fireplace they did lit it for us nor was room heater provided. Also if you order food after 9:30pm you wont get a room service. Apart from these it was great. Only very highly priced.

Luxurious cottage in distinctive style

Posted 3 Dec, 2015

I was completely blown away by The Himalayan Village. A gorgeous resort nestled between the beautiful hills of Kasol. The resort itself is breathtaking. Lush and green with luxurious cottages built in a very distinctive style. The staff are extremely polite and courteous. The food is simply phenomenal. Must try- The mutton rogan josh, the apple almond halwa and of course their apple juice ( it is nothing like the clear brown stuff you get in tetra packs. It is simply brilliant). The place was better than the pictures I must say. My party of 4 spent two days in this hotel and the hotel organised a car and tour guide/driver for us and it was marvellous. Cleanliness : 10/10. Service : 10/10. Ambience : 10/10. Food and beverage : 10/10. I simply cannot find fault with this place and if you are as picky as I am when it comes to hotels, your search ends here. You simply have to stay here to believe the hospitality.

The resort has a amazing location, surrounded by forest, gurgling river Parvati flowing by it, amazing mountain and snow views. The resort is aesthetically build in local architecture and is a delight to the eyes. It is one of the best properties I have ever stayed in. Would love to be back. The services, food is top class. Loved there local cuisines. The warm hospitality. Aman Sood is the best host you can ever come across.

Luxurious stay with good facilities

Posted 9 Jan, 2016

I and Anu started our 1 week backpacking trip on a very luxurious note. It was very easy to locate the property. Even HRTC buses will drop you at the gate. It has Parvati River across the road and tall pine trees at the end. It's a beautiful property. Temperature at night was around -2'C. We were pretty warm and very comfortable inside the room and the restaurant. We tried typical north indian cuisine. The preparations were great. Best breakfast experience. We ordered very day to day preparations but the service made all the difference. Wish could go back soon. We could not try other amenities because we of our next day travel plans. Hotel provided us the much needed advice, guide and the vehicle for our next destination.

Enchanting stay experience

Posted 7 Mar, 2016

Amazing experience. Lust green outside and pine forest at the back and the amazing sound of Parvati river. Staying here was an amazing choice. The in-house restaurant Sanjha Chulha serves you amazing food. Try staying at the machaan next time you are here, provided you do not have elder people with you as you have to climb steps to reach out to the room. Staff is courteous and well trained. Overall, a stay here is must to enjoy the beautiful hamlet Kasol.

The trip to manikaran near manali is absolute pleasure, with picturesque surroundings this was a treat to eyes. The Himalayan village resorted is situated near kasol just about two kilometers before manikaran, has got wonderful cottages built in traditional kathkunia style. The staff makes you feel very comfortable. and the food too is very great. As for its location it has parvati river on one side and deodar forest on the others, this is the best resort i have ever seen
