We reviewed this hotel from multiple web booking sites and decided to go for it considering the good review. Well The hotel is indeed beautiful no doubt and so is the room. Staff was great too. But a couple of things in which they could have improved. In spite of having fireplace they did lit it for us nor was room heater provided. Also if you order food after 9:30pm you wont get a room service. Apart from these it was great. Only very highly priced.
I went to Kullu Manali trip and stayed at The Himalayan Village resort near Kasol in Parvati Valley in route Manikaran. I stayed in this hotel which is traditional Himachali shelter with greatest luxury and leisure. It's like once in lifetime experience and perfect romantic holidays.
I was completely blown away by The Himalayan Village. A gorgeous resort nestled between the beautiful hills of Kasol. The resort itself is breathtaking. Lush and green with luxurious cottages built in a very distinctive style. The staff are extremely polite and courteous. The food is simply phenomenal. Must try- The mutton rogan josh, the apple almond halwa and of course their apple juice ( it is nothing like the clear brown stuff you get in tetra packs. It is simply brilliant). The place was better than the pictures I must say. My party of 4 spent two days in this hotel and the hotel organised a car and tour guide/driver for us and it was marvellous. Cleanliness : 10/10. Service : 10/10. Ambience : 10/10. Food and beverage : 10/10. I simply cannot find fault with this place and if you are as picky as I am when it comes to hotels, your search ends here. You simply have to stay here to believe the hospitality.
The resort has a amazing location, surrounded by forest, gurgling river Parvati flowing by it, amazing mountain and snow views. The resort is aesthetically build in local architecture and is a delight to the eyes. It is one of the best properties I have ever stayed in. Would love to be back. The services, food is top class. Loved there local cuisines. The warm hospitality. Aman Sood is the best host you can ever come across.
One of the most peaceful places I have ever been to- the only sounds that filled the air were the wild river flowing and birds chirping (and maybe the rare honking by buses as they pass- barely 4 times or so through the whole day). The property has modern amenities in the middle of nowhere. The kitchen churns out some good food. The hosts are very helpful and make sure you are entertained in the wilderness with bonfires and jungle walks The machaan may offer a better view but it's just a little bit more the mountain face that the resort faces. The rooms at the corner of the property are better. Just wish I could block the sun out as it shone through the ventilators early in the morning, just a few hours more before being forced out of the bed due to a bright room It's basically a place where one can actually do nothing- just sip nice tea and admire the mountains and enjoy the river flow.
Amazing experience. Lust green outside and pine forest at the back and the amazing sound of Parvati river. Staying here was an amazing choice The in-house restaurant Sanjha Chulha serves you amazing food Try staying at the machaan next time you are here, provided you do not have elder people with you as you have to climb steps to reach out to the room Staff is courteous and well trained Overall, a stay here is must to enjoy the beautiful hamlet Kasol.
