Stayed during the new year. Hotel location is a challenge but the rooms and restaurants are neat and clean. WE stayed just for 3 days and was celebrating our marriage anniversary. I have traveled few places and also a food lover. Food and wine collections very much delicious. Overall a great stay, looking forward to visit again.
Location is good enough, easy to reach to all business places but away from airport. Accommodation, I found rooms rather small. These are maintained well but my room's bathroom was without ventilation of any kind. The extractor fan did not work and that made that bathroom smelly. Just above our room some repairs were being done and during afternoon nap created lot of noise. Amenities are good and staff, service are very good. Staff is always happy to help you with smile and service prompt and efficient. Food is complimentary breakfast was good with quite some variety. The treat they call at the lobby level has good food but very less vegetarian dishes. Hotel property needs to improve, the rooms looked a bit worn out.
In December month I visited this hotel. It was a personal trip to meet my friend. The Chennai city was good and mainly I love the place Nungambakkam. The hotel location was good and it was just easy for transports. It was quiet good and far. The appearance was excellent and well maintained and the building appearance was old looking and good. The front office also good and the staff's also behaved well and they were very friendly and comfortable. The Reception area also good. The room was excellent and very clean, tidy, spacious and the location was beach view. The service was also very good and it was on time. The food and drink also available and that too very good in taste. WiFi and breakfast was available as complimentary. It was a good stay and very neat at a good location. They have spa and pool activity available at this place and it was good. They have pickup and drop facility available.
The Leela Palace is another hotel around the shores of the Marina, the windows sight would have been quiet good choosing rooms other than the south phase, since you only see is the city link. The room service is not as expected as the hotel may seem to mesmerise the looks. The food and the environment would be a "bon appetite" for the many. The bed is quiet cosy but not the best ones. Floors with mats would have been a better option since the finish of the marbles was not as comfortable. By far it has a modern pool and a bar. This could be the best pick for a bachelor party or a couple hangovers. The Leela Palace as it says not so elegant but a perfect place for the nightlife riggers.
It is an awesome hotel and made me feel like a king. Rooms are very spacious and luxury redefined. This hotel has the best sea view rooms in Chennai. Hotel facilities and ambience is very good. Food is very good and had the best breakfast of my life time. Staff are very good and had a great new year eve. Thanks to the hotel management and the staff who made my stay very comfortable and blasting.
Brilliant hotel. On arrival good security systems and scanning. Front desk very polite and helpful. Room has sea view with a nice bathroom where you can overlook the sea. Brilliant way to relax. Better than Ozzie Jacuzzi in UK nice gym with all the equipments. Great choices of food for the breakfast, delicious cuisines. Though slightly far from my workplace as I was a business visitor But definitely recommend if you can afford. Cheers !!
