Very enjoyable. Charming place with great climate, soothing greenery and scenic beauty and very comfortable and caring hotel accommodation. The nearby town was so neat and clean with all amenities and services.

Staying at monk kalpa was a wonderful experience. staying here gave the feel of nature camp.Beautiful location...........room service was excellent. Tourist should stay here particularly in the resort.

A most memorable experience at The Monk resort. I have stayed in tents earlier also, but this one was the best. It was most comfortable & very spacious. The view was mesmerising and the service was wonderful.

About The Monk Kalpa

The Monk-Kalpa, previously known as The Chine Resort, is located below the Army Camp on Roghi Road. The property is 267 km from Shimla Airport and 244 km from Shimla Railway Station. The nearest bus stations are at Shimla and Rampur. The Monk-Kalpa offers picturesque views of the snow clad Himalayan Ranges including the Kinner Kailash and the Shiva Linga.

Rooms & Amenities

The Monk-Kalpa has 18 well-furnished guest rooms including 11 double rooms. The resort has 2 Cottages and 5 Swiss Cottage Tents. The in-room amenities include television and hot water facility. The Monk-Kalpa has an in-house restaurant serving Indian and traditional delicacies. Room and laundry services are provided by the resort. The other facilities comprise of doctor on call and travel desk.
