The O Hotel Reviews
Excellent to have a clean and spacious room after many rooms in various hotels in various cities. Room and bathroom was large and spacious and clean. Well worth the money spent The location was just across the German Bakery where, if you wanted a change, has good cafe food. Taxis were very easy to arrange and travel to the airport was close by.....Read More

The hotel was superb.. Room was well-maintained.. And specially the Bath tub.. I just loved it. View from the room was superb. Hotel staff was very well-behaved and cooperative. Adda bar is also good space.
Very good hotel.. I liked the staff and the services provided. The food is good as well. Rooftop restaurant is added bonus for couples it's very romantic! We have enjoyed our stay. I have been here twice and it's value for money!! Will definitely recommend this hotel.
The room are big and didn't have much of a view. The Bath tub was outside which was a very unique feature and one can relax and also watch TV. The air-con was not very effective an the minibar refrigerator was locked. We were told by housekeeping that it was out of service. However, while check-out they did come to check if we had used it without k....Read More

My purpose of visiting Pune was purely business travel. It was a single night stay before heading off to another city. I took an early morning flight out of simmering Delhi and reached Pune, which was much more comfortable weather wise. There were no qualms in reaching out to the hotel, which was located just opposite Rajneesh Ashram in Koregaon Park. I reached a bit early for check-in, the courteous staff apologized for the non availability of the rooms and assured me that the first available room would be provided to me. I deposited my luggage at the bell desk and took a lavish breakfast at the famous German Bakery, (again bang opposite the Hotel). When I returned, I was helpfully guided to my room along with my luggage. The rooms as expected, were awesome in terms of decor and cleanliness. I was lucky enough to get a room with a view of Rajneesh Ashram, which had greenery all around. There were SPA facilities for the residents which were being offered at a discounted price which, I could not avail off due to paucity of time. My word of advice is go head to German bakery if you are a lover of Continental food. Their club sandwiches and pastas are the ones to die for. For snacks, you may try out the baked vada pao served in the hotel itself, which is a delight in its own way. The breakfast fare (which I had had) the next morning, was an excellent fare. Being a Tuesday, I was keen only on the vegetarian stuff, which had a lavish spread. Seemed a bit low on the non veg side, may be a bit intentional as well. The only aspect I did not like was the bathtub within the room separated only by a curtain, which makes it good choice for the romantic couples. Would like to revisit this place.
we visited the hotel for a conferance to be held in pune; room booked in the name of tushar ubale,it was a pleasurable experience as soon as we entered through the gates .we felt secure due to a thorough security check...all are baggages were thoroughly checked and a good scanner machine is installed at entrance! tired from journey it felt fresh on being greeted my a smile at front desk. prompt check in!the room 503 was beautiful and luxurious and well maintained! you ask for something and it was there. the hotel staff pampered us !the hotel is within a few min walkin distance from OSHO ashram, all happening places in pune are closeby. the staff were punctual and plesantit was a great value for money and would definately return to stay...
My first impression was a bit marred, since I wasn't a huge fan of the lobby. It's nice enough, but I didn't like the decor or the layout. It felt cramped. The room, on the other hand was absolutely wonderful. The O was the last stop on a business trip that involved a lot of very nice hotels. When I factor the cost to room quality ratio, I think the O Hotel might have been the best of the lot. I should mention that I use a lot of hotel deals, since I'm a frequent traveler, and that the other hotels were in more expensive cities (Delhi, Bombay). They have free 24-hr internet, which is great (seriously, 5 star hotels that have you pay for internet really annoy me), even if it's not very fast. They also have a really nice Japanese restaurant on the ground floor. It's pricey, but if you're a fan of Japanese food like I am, I strongly recommend it. Awesome bits: 1) Location. 2) Room - layout, furniture, overall look, etc. 3) The shower - Amazing. 4) The staff are nice enough and accommodate requests fairly easily. 5) Japanese restaurant - you also get 10% off. In terms of improvements: 1) Get a bidet shower! Seriously, we Indians don't like using toilet paper. 2) Internet could be faster. 3) Until I got there, I didn't realize my room didn't include breakfast. Make this clearer on booking sites, or just throw it in! 4) Staff on the outside (near the gate) make no real attempt to help you with your bags. Once you get in the hotel the service improves, though.
The location is fantastic, food is excellent, good hospitality. Great value for money. Excellent choice for a short and sweet stay! The German bakery next door and Koregaon Park is a wonderful place to be. It's a quiet lane in spite of being in the heart of town. The staff is polite and helpful. The service is efficient. The rooms are comfortable, bathrooms modern.
Finally getting down to review our Pune holiday. Yes I know I've been very lazy and the review is overdue, but I'm sitting down to it finally! :) The hotel is grrrreeeeaaat. The location is absolutely perfect, totally in the heart of the city. We drove down from Bombay but I loved the fact that most of the restaurants we had planned to go to (being foodies, our list was ready way before we reached Pune), were in close waling distance from the hotel, making life much easier. The rooms are really nice, very cosy and modern, and they have awesome lights which make the whole atmosphere very romantic which was perfect for our getaway. Not to miss the en suite bath tub- a real icing on the cake! :) Though of course, bath robes would have been a great add on which I definitely missed. Also, there were only 1 pair of slippers in the room which was observed according to me. We didn't end up having breakfast at the hotel, so dunno about the buffet, but the room service is crazily expensive. We called for milk for our morning coffee and it was 300 bucks for 1 cup!! Needless to say, we never called for anything after that. But definitely a place I'd visit again. In fact have made 2 couple friends of mine go there too :)
