My purpose of visiting Pune was purely business travel. It was a single night stay before heading off to another city. I took an early morning flight out of simmering Delhi and reached Pune, which was much more comfortable weather wise. There were no qualms in reaching out to the hotel, which was located just opposite Rajneesh Ashram in Koregaon Park. I reached a bit early for check-in, the courteous staff apologized for the non availability of the rooms and assured me that the first available room would be provided to me. I deposited my luggage at the bell desk and took a lavish breakfast at the famous German Bakery, (again bang opposite the Hotel). When I returned, I was helpfully guided to my room along with my luggage. The rooms as expected, were awesome in terms of decor and cleanliness. I was lucky enough to get a room with a view of Rajneesh Ashram, which had greenery all around. There were SPA facilities for the residents which were being offered at a discounted price which, I could not avail off due to paucity of time. My word of advice is go head to German bakery if you are a lover of Continental food. Their club sandwiches and pastas are the ones to die for. For snacks, you may try out the baked vada pao served in the hotel itself, which is a delight in its own way. The breakfast fare (which I had had) the next morning, was an excellent fare. Being a Tuesday, I was keen only on the vegetarian stuff, which had a lavish spread. Seemed a bit low on the non veg side, may be a bit intentional as well. The only aspect I did not like was the bathtub within the room separated only by a curtain, which makes it good choice for the romantic couples. Would like to revisit this place.
we visited the hotel for a conferance to be held in pune; room booked in the name of tushar ubale,it was a pleasurable experience as soon as we entered through the gates .we felt secure due to a thorough security check...all are baggages were thoroughly checked and a good scanner machine is installed at entrance! tired from journey it felt fresh on being greeted my a smile at front desk. prompt check in!the room 503 was beautiful and luxurious and well maintained! you ask for something and it was there. the hotel staff pampered us !the hotel is within a few min walkin distance from OSHO ashram, all happening places in pune are closeby. the staff were punctual and plesantit was a great value for money and would definately return to stay...
Finally getting down to review our Pune holiday. Yes I know I've been very lazy and the review is overdue, but I'm sitting down to it finally! :) The hotel is grrrreeeeaaat. The location is absolutely perfect, totally in the heart of the city. We drove down from Bombay but I loved the fact that most of the restaurants we had planned to go to (being foodies, our list was ready way before we reached Pune), were in close waling distance from the hotel, making life much easier. The rooms are really nice, very cosy and modern, and they have awesome lights which make the whole atmosphere very romantic which was perfect for our getaway. Not to miss the en suite bath tub- a real icing on the cake! :) Though of course, bath robes would have been a great add on which I definitely missed. Also, there were only 1 pair of slippers in the room which was observed according to me. We didn't end up having breakfast at the hotel, so dunno about the buffet, but the room service is crazily expensive. We called for milk for our morning coffee and it was 300 bucks for 1 cup!! Needless to say, we never called for anything after that. But definitely a place I'd visit again. In fact have made 2 couple friends of mine go there too :)
I stayed here at The O hotel this summer when I was in Pune with my friends to enjoy. It was great being in Pune. We loved the city and The O hotel made our trip really a pleasant one. It was good being here. Right from the door-men to the top desk staff, everyone was really cordial and helpful. Our rooms were really nice and spacious. It was good. We had fun time being here. The washroom was good as well. Food was good too. Hospitality was great. And all the amenities they provided us worked really well. We had a good time at the O hotel. And I would surely recommend this place to all.
The hotel is all about romance. I could not find a more romantic hotel in Pune. The name suggests its more a biz hotel but don't be misguided by the name. Its situated on the most happening road in Pune, the North main road Koregaon park. As soon as you enter the lobby you will see beautiful interiors. The reception is managed by some pretty girls with smiles on their faces. Everything about this hotel is a fashion statement. I had my room on 4th floor. All the floors have aroma candles in the pathway. The rooms are decent sized but the striking feature is the bathtub which is placed in the room instead of being enclosed in a bathroom. The terrace has a pool with dining tables placed within the pool so that you can dip your feet in the water while having your candlelight dinner.
