"The Oriental Hotel in Gangtok..."

The Oriental Hotel in Gangtok is well located at M G Marg (Mall Rd) Well designed, clean & well maintained. Good food & reasonably priced restaurant Good service especially by Mr Dawa(the all rounder service boy) However it has: No view of the mountains. Running hot water is only for for 3 hrs in the morining & 3 hrs in the evening (running cold water is available full day) The Hotel has Compact rooms & bathrooms It Could improve on flexibility & friendliness Would recommend for a stay.

"Gangtok is a fantastic place..."

Gangtok is a fantastic place to visit. Oriental was a very good place to stay at, very neat and clean. Probably serves the best food in Gangtok. Overall real value for money.
