The hotel is very clean with a very good staff. The hotel isnt very lavish looking but has spacious rooms and a fairly good view. The hotel is 15 mins walk from the main market. It has a decent breakfast which is provided personally in your room at whatever time you wake up which is quiet convenient as during your whole stay sometimes you have early breakfast and sometimes late. We had a good stay at this hotel and was quiet comfortable.
I was there during May, 2015. The location of the hotel is very good, at the middle of the city. Stuffs were very helpful, they will help and suggest you for sightseeing. Also, they will arrange cab with lower rate. Food was very good though only room service is available. Rooms were big, cozy a spacious and overall very clean. I would suggest this Hotel to everyone.
This Hotel is located in close proximity to the city center. Gives the feeling of home stay. The Manager was very courteous and the support staff was prompt and helpful. We stayed from 25th Dec 2015 to 28th Dec 2015 and our stay was warm and nice. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for home like experience and quiet and calm environment.
We stayed at this hotel this January and had booked it based on favorable reviews on the internet, and we sure had a delightful experience! Right from where the owner personally drove half a kilometer and guided us to the hotel :). The rooms are absolutely spic and span, with wooden furnishing all around, giving the rooms a nice woody smell. The hotel is walking distance from the nearby market and restaurants are close by too. The owner was very helpful with his suggestions on where to visit around Shillong. Definitely a hotel to recommend.
We went to Shillong for a day break from Guwahati and decided on The Pear Tree. It was a little difficult to find the hotel but not too much of a hassle. The hotel looks like a residential property and quite pretty. There is literally a pear tree in the front yard! We stayed in the suite and it was quite large. The room was comfortable enough. Bathroom was great, very clean and had all the modern fixings. The manager, Mr Bora, who owns the property, was quite friendly and we had fun conversations. We went during Diwali and they sent up snacks and sweets up to our room as a treat. The staff is very sweet and friendly as well. We would love to stay here again!
As the name itself tells you about the hill station. The hotel is situated in the middle of hills. The pine trees are hanging around the hotel giving it the best beauty you can get. The exotic weather and the food, the bonfire, the historical songs, the real food and the luxurious treatment by the hotel staff makes you want to come again.
Its very easy to locate hotel address and the management of hotel is fab no words to credit. I like the service and co worker are very much friendly to help you. The surrounding of hotel is superb and view from the hotel is going to amazed your eyes. As we all know that shillong is very adventures place and a lot of event is organised at that place and the location of hotel suits for all these so any will refer this hotel for such a kind location and wonderful site from the hotel will make yourself feel better.
Visited Shillong during rainy season in August, stayed for two days. The hotel has very nice and cosy rooms but without fans or ACs but with heaters, I dint ask for fan because of cold days. Hotel manager is friendly and co-operative. It has good front as well as interiors. Accepts online as well as offline bookings. Its B&B, so don't wish for lunch and dinner. Though you can find 3 to 4 restaurants and food junctions at walking distance. Breakfast is included in room fare so no need to worry for it. Breakfast is served as & when required with good & fixed menu. Room service needs little improvement or may be more staff. Its away from main roads so gives a special peace and cosy environment. Parking is little tight but they have got it. At last its an Amazing hotel to enjoy holidays.
