The Spectrum is one of the best places I have stayed in. Food is awesome. It s a home away from home in the midst of the lush green serenity. I would recommend The Spectrum anytime as most wonderful places to stay in Chikmaglur.

Best Experience: The born fire experience was one of its kind. I liked the soft idlis and the wonderful Andhra style sambar the best. Typical Tamilnadu style fish fry goes very well with the chilly surroundings.

It was a very good Experience which I have to express, I had given a gift to my friend for their Honeymoon it was A 2 night stay at The Spectrum Homestay Chikmagalur, they have travelled for almost 16hours from Villupuram to chikmagalur they both were litterly scolding me while coming in the bus why i had given a very long tiring journey. Before they reach the Bus stand a Red Maruthi Swift was at the bustand to welcome them and to take them to the Home stay, It was around 23:00hrs the staffs were welcoming us with smile and the couples went to room, As soon as they open the door they found a surprice that The bed was decorated with Rose petals in heart shape and also from the entrance door to the bed again it was decorated with Candles like a path way in either sides. As soon as they saw they forget about their journey and they both were started taking photographs, and we three of us went to our room, It was fully furnished room with Red Theme all over, The room was very nicely maintained and the bathroom fittings were all excellent Colour TV with Tata Sky Facility with minibar Snacks also available. after freshen up we went to have our Dinner starts with starter main course and Dessert all the dishes were mouth watering dishes and staff who served us dinner at mid night 12 o clock was very kind and charming, Excellent food and great service from the staff, then the next day we had our Breakfast and we all went to Mullaingiri and a Private falls which was a breath taking experence for the couples, it was so cold and fully mist covered all over the place. The whole stay was a suprise for them in Excellent Destination like chikmagalur - we all enjoyed our stay over there it was an unforgettable moment in my life - Thanks a lot for The Spectrum Team and will like to visit again.

Best Experience: The Food (ennai kathrikai)which was made by the cook it was so delicious, The girl asked the cook for the receipe and preparation method and she wrote down the receipe, which she tries and making in her house saying that she learnt in Chikmagalur which was a best experence to Highlight.

The location is very good and its in the middle of coffee plantation. Rooms are of very descent size and are quite clean. However, I expected a little more for Rs.3500/- per couple.

Best Experience: Food was good. Staff was very friendly.

excellent place loved it. Actually we wanted to stay long back we cancelled the booking due to unavoidable circumstance. we made it in jan2012 good place neatly maintained.
