The hotel is close to shopping areas and Jantar Mantar, and not far from the Metro, so it is conveniently located. What I remember as being rather irritating are the sliding doors in the bathroom which would leave a chink of space through which one could peep in. Hmmm... I'm not sure whether even couples would particularly want to see their partner like that. We switched rooms and the new room was marginally better. The second grouse was the fact that the swipe card-key for the room routinely malfunctioned. Each time we were told that we shouldn't keep the card next to a mobile phone. But the error persisted despite taking this precaution. So we had to keep going to the front desk on the ground floor (and our room was on the fifth) to rectify this. This would happen at least once or twice every day.

I stayed at Claridges recently with a group of business colleagues for 4 days. Loved the room decor...very comfortable, with the old world charm.

Best Experience: The lawn in front of the hotel is a great place to have a relaxed evening cuppa chai. We also had booked a room for a meeting...the first floor room had a lovely oriental feel and we were looked after by a very efficient hostess. The snacks buffet served at this occasion was excellent.

Worst Experience: On the downside, the restaurant where they serve breakfast is really small and the service is not as good as you would expect at a hotel like this.
