Best Experience: great view from the lawn. Well mantained rooms. breakfast and lunch sitting in the lawn was a good experiencing
Worst Experience: nothing much but the food quality needs some improvements.

Best Experience: Room 108 in which we stayed has a fantastic view of the valley and the stay was memorable. Well planned sight seeing trips were arranged.Though kitchen was not fully functional, food arrangements from nearby restaurants was very well organized.
Worst Experience: None at all as the staff there would never allow any visitor to have a bad experience. Such was the great service.

Best Experience: Good things about this place: 1. Friendly, co-operative, down to earth and helpful staff and management 2. Very organised 3. Good location. 4. Guest services are good. 5. Clean and hygenic rooms 6. Excellent gestures towards guests by offering pick and drop from railway station/bus stand, providing the cute memorabilia to guests during check out.
Worst Experience: Areas of Improvement: 1. The kitchen has to be completed ASAP, this is a big roadblock for this place. Usually guests come here to relax and I would not appreciate the fact that I have to go around places to have decent food (though they are near to hotel). They also serve the food from hotels, but then you will not be sure about the quality of the place where it is cooked. This has to be complted on a priority. 2. The geysers in the room are very slow in heating and give only a litlle quantity of hot water. I suggest the hotel management to install instant geysers to overcome the problems. 3. Internet services should be provided to the guests (atleast to those who request this. 4. Credit Card payment not possible.

Best Experience: 1. Ease of booking. They gave excellent alternative of staying at a homestay- Amherst Cottage. (Although maintained by same management, I'd prefer this to be added as a separate place in HIQ) 2. Helpful staff: very cooperative staff in handling minor issues. 3. Excellent view- from rooms as well as from the lawn.
Worst Experience: 1. Credit card machine not working- compelled us to pay by cash- a difficult proposition in today's plastic world. 2. Food not so good- except for ready-made stuff (continental breakfast). Non availability of dining hall was a dampener- however, might be boon for some honeymooners! :)
