The hotel is located on one of the most beautiful spots in Gulmarg. Rooms are generally neat. heating facilities is good.Satff are helpul.

And at the royal park hotel(gulmarg), this credo is part of how they make you feel this way by offering a host of divine services and facilities for both our leisure and and pleasure.. We expressed our thanks to several members of your staff during our week-long stay, Specially to IRSHAD BABA N ASHIQ HUSSAIN BABA....:) I wanted to tell personally how much we enjoyed our stay and how pleased we were with the attentiveness of you both. they were polite, helpful and responsive, and met any request quickly and thoroughly....:)

This is the first hotel you would see when you enter Gulmarg. The hotel looks nice from outside and is strategically located in front of one of the world’s best scenic views. Local market is at a walking distance but you would need a sledge or horse to reach the Gondola Cable car and other tourist points. Hotel is centrally heated and well laid. Reception is nice and welcoming. Though, the outer view of the hotel and toilets are quite modern but rooms are designed in typical Kashmiri style with wooden designer roofs, embroidered rugs and paintings and heavy wooden furniture all around. Rooms have proper heating system with Heaters and electric blankets. With snow all around, water supply was a problem in the hotel. It was not hot enough to take a comfortable bath on first day. It was better later though. However, I think the entire Kashmir was facing the issue so I would ignore that point here. Food is just fine. Not that great and not that bad. Room service is very prompt and excellent. All in all great stay. I would not mind staying here again.

The Royal Park had good location .It was on top of the hill from where we had good view of gulmarg.The stay and facilities were good.

Best Experience: We called the room service for heater bedmat (this is a mat on the bed which given heat to the bed via current) prob. Immediately they changed the heater bedmat.We had good sleep.thanks to their service.

Worst Experience: they were heavy snow fall around the hotel. just outside the hotel atleast ,they should clear the snow. As it was sunny,the snow melts and floor was very slippery.I fell down bec of that.Please take care of that. And some of the food taste was not up to the mark.
