Best Experience: Very nice hotel staff. Was helpful from the time of check in till the time of check out.

Just like the name, Pine N Peak, the hotel\'s location is on a small peak surrounded by Pine tree offering an excellent view of the snow capped mountains & lidder river flowing below. Warm and cosy room with french windows and all modern ammenities makes it a perfect choice.

Best Experience: The wide range of food offered.

Worst Experience: Well nothing worst here...

I have been to Kashmir last jun and it was my one of the best trip ever. the hotels are good more then my expectation. location of hotel was also good. we also has good quality of food and tasted real Kashmir taste. customer service also up to the mark. rooms are also spacious and well equipped.

Best Experience: We had morning and evening tea at the garden restaurant and it feels very relaxation. the view from garden was fabulous.

Worst Experience: by god shake there was no bad experience.

We had booked a room at another hotel of their parent company but when we arrived, they said the room wasn\'t available. But they said they would offer us a suite at a much better, 5-star hotel and that is how we landed at Senator Pine N Peak. The moment we entered our suite, we gushed out of happiness. It was large, comfy, and had a good view (good, not great coz the hotel is surrounded by pine trees; as much as the trees hide the hotel from the outside world, they also obscure view of the surrounding from inside the hotel). There was a heating system so as to make us warm in the chilly nights of Pahalgam. Hot water was available 24x7 in the bathroom. Plus all the nick-knacks that are essentially provided in a 5-star hotel. For example, I forgot to pack my toothbrush and was planning on buying one, but to my surprise, they had provided 2 brushes and toothpaste in addition to all the other bathroom essentials (soap. shampoo, body lotion, shaving kits). I had been to Kashmir before but this \'posh\' experience was altogether new for me. I was wary of street food and had starved myself on our road trip to Pahalgam from Srinagar hoping that the hotel food would be better. And this hotel didn\'t fail me! We ordered chicken biryani and club sandwiches and they were so good!! Must thank the chef there. All meals served at their restaurant live up to the expectations. Good Indian as well as continental fare. Plus the sightseeing and transport facility is at the beck of a call. The guys at the reception were very helpful in this matter. The housekeeping and room service is also good. There are pony rides for a nearby tour to the deer park, lavender park etc., rafting in the Lidder river or just lazying off in the morning sun sitting by the river. Great taxis (Innovas, Scorpios, etc) for far-away attractions.

Best Experience: There\'s a personal touch to everything. They celebrate your birthdays, anniversaries, with a complimentary cake, freshly baked in their own restaurant. We didn\'t expect that, at least from a hotel in Pahalgam. You will leave feeling like a V.I.P.!!

Worst Experience: They offered us a suite in their 5-star hotel when we had booked 2 rooms in their 3-star hotel (just across the river) at no extra cost! We thought may be they really dont have a room and this is their way of making up for our loss and so were touched by this \'gesture\' of theirs. But later on, we stumbled across several guests who had had a similar experience. Who knows? This may be a marketing strategy to first give us a taste of the 5-star experience and then shift us to our original 3-star hotel. Once you\'ve stayed in a 5-star, why would you book a 3-star the next time you come to Pahalgam?
