Hyatt Regency Mumbai Reviews

The hotel\'s name belies its offerings. For a brand like Hyatt, the rooms provided are too small and not so impressive. The bathroom is good, with bathtub, good fittings, shower cubicle etc. Overall the room is decent but not very luxurious. Service is okay. Locationwise a stone\'s throwaway from airport, but not much activity for vacationers, although they can check out pubs in nearby 5star hotels like Leela Kempinski etc. The food and drink are decent but the restaurant at another 5-star hotel The Grand Maratha, which is right next to it are much superior and shud be visited if you are staying at the Hyatt. The Hyatt Regency has a decent Spa though.

Best Experience: Use of the Prana Spa is a good experience, hotel is very close to the International Airport, so if you are an international traveller in transit through Mumbai, its a decent place to stay, although there are other luxury hotels too like the ITC Grand Maratha, Le Meridien etc, tariffs for which may be higher.

Worst Experience: The location is a positive from the point of view of proximity to International airport, but also a negative so far as activities for vacationers are concerned. From that point of view one wud rather choose a hotel in a suburb like Bandra which is closer to where all the activity is, or right in South Mumbai, which is at the centre of all shopping, entertainment, sightseeing spots.

Once in a lifetime experience! It was like enticing to come back again. Hard to leave it. I would recommend the Hyatt to any one likes luxury and has the will and money to spend!

Best Experience: The staff here are great! Simply touched by their manners and humility!

Worst Experience: Only the while checking out! I simply did not want to go home back!!

Good, except that Vegatarian dishes were less as compared to the Non - Veg at teh Banquet during lunch

Best Experience: Room & Bathrooms were very clean & comfortable.

Worst Experience: No bad experience, except some more veg dishes at teh Lunch Banquet
