Sonmarg Glacier Hotel Reviews

The moment you enter Sonmarg, you run into Sonmarg Glacier Hotel. Very decent place with a river flowing at the back and snow-capped mountains in the front. Rooms are spacious, very comfortable and aestheticaly designed. From its bay windows you can look down at the river or up the scenic mountains. Huge bathroom with hot water. Small lawn where you can just lounge around with a cup of tea and enjoy the mountain delights. take a walk to the market. And right in front of the hotel you get the ponies and the geeps to take you up to the glacier.

Best Experience: Room service needs to be pulled up a bit. Although dining room service is quite good with decent food. Courteous staff...the front room staff even got us a bottle of glycerine from the nearby market and gave us their mobile phone to call up our driver.

Worst Experience: No worst experience.

The hotel is at best location to get the complete view Thajeshwar Glacier. The overall good food and cooperative staff.

Best Experience: Good food and taking care of sick visitor.

Worst Experience: Nothing

pleasant location,on arrival to the hotel you can see the snow clad mountains .the hotel provides good service. delicious food.

Great hotel, nice people and some great food. I have visited a lot of hotels in Kashmir and this is among the best.

It is a very good hotel at sonemarg, kashmir. Staff & management are courtious. Take care of needs for comfort. Clean & pleasent environment. Good to stay here with family. Very good Snow sight in front of hotel & beautiful river side behind it make its look very pleasent.

Best Experience: I stayed here in connection with my visit to Amarnath Yatra. Hotel staff were so caring that they provided breakfast in packed condition for all members of the family at 06 AM morning.

Worst Experience: I did not find any negative in my stayal
