Best Experience: I was thoroughly overwhelmed to see the bell boy wishing foreigners. I thought, if India would become that conscious, Tourism will flourish & India would be minting. Later I discovered that it was for tips but then the bell boy\'s action may have had it\'s effect.
Worst Experience: I wanted to extend & they told me that I would have to pay nearly double for the same room because I had booked thru internet. The next day my friend came in & there was an additional difference in what he had to pay vis-a-vis what I was asked to. Spend more time at the reception fighting. An annoyed foreigner was at the reception wearing a towel. Room quality differs drastically. Those given to those booking on the net were old, dingy. There was no airconditioning as the weather was fine. Ventilation to room was absent with fixed glass windows.
