The resort is amazing. It is quiet and serene tucked away from the crowd. The hotel staff is courteous and provides a very warm experience. The view of the mountains from the resort is the best. The place has activities like games / music to keep you entertained.

Best Experience: The staff is the best I have seen so far. They response time is very quick. We had issues with the geyser in the room and the concerned person came in 2-3 times to check and re-check if everything was fine.

Worst Experience: NONE

Darjeeling itself is a nice place to stay in plus if you get a good stay than it is all is well.Darjeeling is filled with natural beauty plus it is very cold and there are light shovers pouring some or the other times which makes summer holidays really wonderful.

Best Experience: 1.We booked a twin bedroom room which was really lovely and spacius. 2.Sonar bangla hotel had appr. 40 rooms.We booked a room with breakfast included.On the first day they served us puri bhaji along with bread toast,butter and jam and also tea and coffee.It was a buffet breakfast. I asked one of the waiter whether youall don\'t prepare poha. To my surprise they prepared poha along with bread cutlet,omlett and many more things. 3.We had booked the room for 3 days.But due to bharat bandh on 27th may we were forced to return to newjalpaiguri on 26th.SO we stayed for only 2 days. The manager was so kind that he booked the taxi for us immediately and also charged for only 2 days.

The best experiences you can get at Sterling Resort. I have been to many sterlings before at different places. Sterling at Darjeeling is worst mantained of all. Still, compared to any hotel, the sterling experience is always amazing.

Best Experience: We have small kitchens there, I loved the hot n crispy french fries my wife fried. We bought fresh vegetables - very fresh and instantly cooked it. it was so great. the grocery store of sterling sells most of the things at a reasonable amount.

Worst Experience: Mantainance of rooms were not the sterling standard. Sight seeing services were good, but I was duped at the last minute, when I booked a sumo a day in advance.
