The rooms are very neat n clear.....Itz in old building ..look bad from outside but very well n neat n clean from inside....Views are also gud...Evey thing was gud with the hotel,the only problem is.... the Hotel have only suits ....and in suit two families have to share the bathroom which i think the worst experience of me with the Hotel.

Best Experience: Rooms are very neat n Clean and Views are very gud ....one can Walk easily in this big hotel ...for relaxation

Worst Experience: shared Bathroom in the suite is the Worst experience i had on the tour....

Over all experience is not so bad, but food availability & services are very poor.

We (me and my wife) took a cab from shimla to mussoorie and reached the hotel by around 6 pm on the 7th of November 2009. The owner Mr. Vaish was a very nice person and he welcome us. The resort is a Heritage one, built in 1848, as told to us by the owner. The room was excellent. the food was excellent. the view was awesome. We could click some snow capped Himalayan mountains right from our balcony.

Best Experience: Everything was excellent. I am finding No words to explain. The best place to stay at Mussoorie. The OLD building is not very attractive from the outside. But the room interiors are the best for the price. We paid just Rs.800/- for the room, as it was offseason. The same room costs Rs.3000/- per night in season. The service was great. The food was good. The guidance by all staff of the places to visit around was welcome. We are happy that on the stormy day of 9th november, one of the Hotel staff, offered to go to the market and bring us our already ordered COAT, from the TAILOR, all this in heavy rain and bad weather.

Worst Experience: Only worst experience was that on the 9th November 2009, there was a thunder storm and we were confined to our room for the whole day, without any sight seeing. But again the scene right from the hotel balcony and our room balcony during the storm was excellent experience.

We stayed there from 21st December till 24th December 2009. It is an excellent place to stay, neat clean good rooms, well made beds, excellent service, staff polite and courteous, wonderful location - view the himalayan snow clad peaks, most of Gun Hill/ropeway/camel back road etc.

Best Experience: Vast flat area in front of the rooms with sun there almost the whole day; impossible to have such a wonderful vista in the mountainous region.
